The Warriors is an American hardcore punk band originally from Tehachapi, California, United States. Due to member changes, The Warriors are now primarily based in Oxnard, California. Their work is heavily influenced by 1990s bands such as Rage Against the Machine and Snapcase. [1]

History

The Warriors followed their debut 7" release with a full-length album titled War Is Hell, released on Eulogy Recordings in 2003. In 2005 it was reissued with two extra tracks and computer accessible content, under the title War Is Hell Redux. In 2006 their second album, Beyond The Noise, was released. They are now signed on to Victory Records. In 2007 they released their third album Genuine Sense of Outrage.

On a demo release distributed by Eulogy Recordings, the songs "Set the Stage" and "The Red, Black and Blue" from their album War Is Hell were featured.

The vocalist Marshall Lichtenwaldt was featured in the song "Hollow", originally recorded on Parkway Drive's EP Don't Close Your Eyes, and then re-released on their 2010 album Deep Blue. In 2011, Parkway Drive's lead singer Winston McCall was featured in The Warriors' song "Panic", from the album See How You Are. [2]

In the second episode of the second season of the Netflix series Marvel's Daredevil, the song "The Price of Punishment" can be heard. It is also featured in Far Cry 5 and Steep

In 2019, hardcore band Knocked Loose released a cover of "Slings And Arrows" from War Is Hell on their "Mistakes Like Fractures" EP.

Blind Illusion

Blind Illusion is an American progressive thrash metal band from Richmond, California. Formed in 1978 by lead guitarist and main songwriter Mark Biedermann, the band has had several lineup changes, with Biedermann being the only constant member. Blind Illusion is also notable for featuring future Primus members Les Claypool and Larry LaLonde, who performed bass and guitar respectively on their 1988 debut album The Sane Asylum. After a 20-year hiatus, Biedermann reformed Blind Illusion in 2009. A new EP entitled 2018 was released in February 2019 and includes remakes of some of their older songs.

Bury Your Dead is an American metalcore band from Boston, Massachusetts, formed in 2001. The current lineup is Mat Bruso on lead vocals, Chris Towning on guitar, Aaron Patrick on bass, and Mark Castillo on drums. To date they have had eight releases; one EP: Bury Your Dead, one live DVD: Alive, and six studio albums: You Had Me at Hello, Cover Your Tracks, Beauty and the Breakdown, Bury Your Dead, It's Nothing Personal and Mosh N' Roll.

Calico System was an American metalcore band from St. Louis, Missouri. The group formed in 1998 and released several albums under the Eulogy Recordings label after successful LP releases and abundant touring. They announced their disbandment in 2007, stating each member decided to pursue their own career.

Morning Again is a metalcore band from Florida. They were known for their metalcore sound as well as for their straight edge, vegan and anti-government ideas. The band was a "sister band" to Culture, often switching members after one had left the other. Several members went on to play in other bands such as As Friends Rust and Dead Blue Sky. The band was originally from Cooper City, Florida, but moved to Fort Lauderdale in 1998.

<i>Dont Close Your Eyes</i> (EP) 2004 EP by Parkway Drive

Don't Close Your Eyes is an EP by Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive. It was released in 2004. It was later re-released with the addition of tracks included from both their split album with I Killed the Prom Queen and from the compilation albums What We've Built and True Till Death, Volume I. Two songs, "Smoke 'Em If Ya Got 'Em" and "Hollow Man", were re-recorded and released on Parkway Drive's debut album Killing with a Smile and 2010 album Deep Blue, respectively. "Hollow Man" is released as just "Hollow" on Deep Blue, and features Marshall Lichtenwaldt, the vocalist of American hardcore punk band the Warriors.

Sparrows (band) 2010s Canadian post hardcore band

Sparrows is a three-piece post hardcore band originally from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Formed in 2010 the band consists of vocalist/guitarist Dan Thomson, guitarist Alex Pley, and drummer Jon Busby. In March 2015 the group was named one of Alternative Press magazine's "100 Bands You Need to Know".
