The Waterfront is a live music venue and nightclub in King Street, Norwich, Norfolk. It is located on the bank of the River Wensum, opposite Norwich Riverside. It has been managed by the Union of UEA Students since 1993. It is not, however, a student club, and entrance is open to the public. The building comprises two floors. The ground floor contains a 700 capacity main room with integral bar, dressing rooms and toilets. The first floor features a 200 capacity room, a café bar and an open plan office.

The Oxo Tower Restaurant, Bar and Brasserie is on the eighth floor, which is the roof-top level with fine and casual dining. In addition to this, situated on the eighth floor is a viewing gallery open to the public. The third to seventh floors contain 78 flats owned by Redwood Housing. Much of the second floor can be hired out for events and weddings.

The Manchester Academy, originally known as the University of Manchester Main Hall, is composed of four concert venues, located on the campus of the University of Manchester, in Manchester, England. The four venues are: Academy 1, 2 and 3 and Club Academy. Utilised by the Students' Union, the venues are housed in two buildings, the original Students' Union built in 1957 and the academy, built in 1990. Shine was a night club located in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The club was started in 1995 by local DJ Alan Simms. Since its inception it had been held in the Mandela hall, part of Queen's University Students' Union. For a period in the early 2000s, the entire Students' Union building was used - informally known as 'Super Shine' and bringing its capacity to almost 2400 people - although such events have been discontinued, with the snack bar on the top floor of the building no longer in use, although it happened on boxing night 2015.

The Greenock Arts Guild formed in 1946. Their Arts Guild Theatre on Campbell Street in Greenock, Scotland, held public performances from 1947 to December 8, 2012, then in January 2013 they opened the Beacon Arts Centre, a new building on Greenock's waterfront, adjacent to Customhouse Quay. Its main performance spaces are the Main Auditorium and The Studio theatre space. A Gallery Suite provides multifunction meeting, rehearsal and functions space, the Bar + Kitchen bistro café serves meals at lunchtime and before specific events. The Gallery Suite and the restaurant have full height glazed walls looking directly out over the River Clyde to the hills of Dunbartonshire and Argyll.
Propaganda is an Independent music club night spanning across 22 different areas in the UK, Ireland, Australia and Brazil. It is known to be the biggest club night of its kind in the UK in reference to the number of people who attend each week. Propaganda was created by DJ Dan while at Bristol university, claiming there was no alternative club night in the area at that time. The night first started at The Cooler on Park Street in Bristol before it out grew the capacity and had to move to Level Nightclub on Park Row. Propaganda has previously had DJs such as Lily Allen, The Vaccines, The Libertines, Ellie Golding, Rizzle Kicks and Zane Lowe at their events.
Asiatique: The Riverfront is a large open-air mall in Bangkok, Thailand. It occupies the former docks of the East Asiatic Company, and faces the Chao Phraya River and Charoen Krung Road. The complex opened in 2012 after extensive renovation of the site.
