The X Factor is a Greek and Cypriot television music competition to find new singing talent. The seventh series began airing on Mega Channel on March 18, 2022. [1] Singer Christos Mastoras returned as judge for his second season, and three new judges joined, singer Mariza Rizou, singer and songwriter Stelios Rokkos and singer and songwriter Michalis Kouinelis, who replaced Giorgos Theofanous, Melina Aslanidou and Michael Tsaousopoulos. The director and actor Andreas Georgiou takes over the presentation of the live shows, who replaced Despina Vandi. Singer Ilias Bogdanos and singer Katerina Lioliou were the backstage-hosts, who replaced Aris Makris. [2] Ilias Psinakis was the guest judge only in the live shows. [3] Nikos Mouratidis was the guest judge only in the live shows since the fourth week.
On February 1, 2022, Mega Channel announced that Christos Mastoras will return for his second season and with Mariza Rizou, Stelios Rokkos and Michalis Kouinelis, as the judges. Also the two backstage-hosts were announced, Ilias Bogdanos and Katerina Lioliou. [4] [5] [6] On February 15, 2022, it was announced that Andreas Georgiou will be the host of the live shows. [7]
40 acts faced the four-chair challenge, 10 from each team. The challenges were broadcast on 28 April, 29 April, 5 May and 12 May.

Shayne Ward became the winner and Louis Walsh emerged as the winning mentor. The second series was longer than the first, with seven acts in each of the three categories going to the judges' homes, and 12 acts in the finals instead of 9. Kate Thornton returned as presenter of the main show on ITV and Ben Shephard presented the spin-off show The Xtra Factor on ITV2, while Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne and Walsh returned as judges. 75,000 people auditioned for the series.

After the show of 8 December, two of Scherzinger's acts, James Arthur and Jahméne Douglas, became the top two, meaning that Scherzinger was guaranteed to win. Arthur was announced as the winner on 9 December, and released a cover of Shontelle's "Impossible" as his winner's song. As of 2016, it is the most successful winner's single in the show's history.
The third and final season of the American music competition television show The X Factor premiered on Fox on September 11, 2013, and ended on December 19, 2013. This season was hosted by Mario Lopez. Simon Cowell and Demi Lovato returned to the judging panel, while Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio joined the panel as replacements for the departing judges.

X Factor Malta is the Maltese version of the British television music competition The X Factor, created by Simon Cowell. The first season premiered on 7 October 2018 and has since been broadcast on Television Malta. The show was used to determine the artist that would represent Malta in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2019 and 2020. In July 2020, it was announced that the show would be replaced by Malta's Got Talent, but after a one-year hiatus, a third season began in October 2021. Season four started on 08 October 2023.
