Therani is a village in Chittoor district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. The village is home to a 500-year-old Vaikuntanatha temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. [1] Located amidst the hills of Nagari, it offers a view of the jagged peaks of the famous Nagari Nose of the southernmost portions of the Eastern Ghats.

Vaikunda Perumal Temple, Uthiramerur

The Vaikunta Perumal Temple in Uthiramerur, a village in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu, is dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. The temple is constructed in the Dravidian style of architecture. Vishnu is worshipped as Vaikunta Perumal and his consort Lakshmi as Anandavalli. The temple was originally built by Pallavan, with later additions from the Chola. The temple is known for the inscriptions indicating the democratic practises of electing representatives for the village bodies during the regime of Parantaka Chola.

A nagari is a semi-autonomous Minangkabau people regional administrative unit in West Sumatra, Indonesia. From 1983-1999 the national government attempted to apply the Javanese desa village system to other ethnic groups throughout Indonesia, and in 1983 the traditional Minangkabau nagari village units were split into smaller jorong units, with some disruption to traditional nagari-centred social and cultural institutions. Vaikuntanatha Temple, Therani

Sri Vaikuntanatha Swamy Temple is a 500 year old Vaishnavite temple situated at Therani village in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu who is referred to as Vaikuntanatha. The temples was constructed during 16th Century on the banks of river Kushasthali. The temple is 5 km away from Nagari town and 50 km away from Tirupati city.
