It is somewhat at odds with the prevailing design theme expressed in other buildings in the former Fort Yellowstone district. <i>Buffalo Bill – The Scout</i> United States historic place

Buffalo Bill – The Scout is a bronze statue of a mounted rider outside the Buffalo Bill Historical Center in Cody, Wyoming, United States, that was placed in 1924 to commemorate the town's most famous resident and de facto founder, Buffalo Bill Cody. Originally in open land on the western outskirts of Cody, the statue now stands at the end of Sheridan Avenue, which became the town's main thoroughfare as Cody grew to the west. The project was initiated by Buffalo Bill Cody's niece, Mary Jester Allen, who had established the basis of what would become the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. A New Yorker, she persuaded heiress and artist Gertrude Vanderbilt Whitney to sculpt the piece.

The CQA Four Mile Bridge spans the Big Horn River in Hot Springs County, Wyoming. The bridge was erected in 1927-28 by the Charles M. Smith Company and spans 175 feet (53 m) with a total length of 295 feet (90 m). The rigid 7-panel Pennsylvania through-truss was nominated for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places as one of forty bridges throughout Wyoming that collectively illustrate steel truss construction, a technique of bridge design that has become obsolete since the mid-twentieth century. The bridge rests on concrete piers and abutments and is approached by two Warren pony trusses.

The EFP Bridge spans Owl Creek in Hot Springs County, Wyoming. The bridge was erected in 1919–20 by the Monarch Engineering Company of Denver and spans 124 feet (38 m) with a total length of 126 feet (38 m). The rigid 7-panel Parker (camelback) through-truss was nominated for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places as one of forty bridges throughout Wyoming that collectively illustrate steel truss construction, a technique of bridge design that has become obsolete since the mid-twentieth century. The bridge is supported on sandstone abutments and has a timber deck, 15 feet (4.6 m) in width.

The Callaghan Apartments, also known as the Plaza Apartments and Hotel and the Plaza Hotel, was erected in 1918 in Hot Springs State Park in Thermopolis, Wyoming. It was at one time one of six hotels catering to tourists using the Big Spring of Thermopolis, a hot spring reputed to possess curative properties. The hotel was erected by bricklayer James Callaghan, who obtained a 98-year lease on the site commencing on January 1, 1918. Callaghan made his own bricks in a kiln he built on the site, completing the Callaghan Apartments in June 1918. He employed several nurses and a masseur for his guests. In 1921 Callaghan sold the property to Dr. P.W. Metz who renamed it The Plaza.

The Alex Halone House in Thermopolis, Wyoming, was built by Finnish immigrant Alex Halone for his personal residence in 1909–1910. Halone, a stonemason, built several stone structures in Thermopolis. Three generations of the Halone family were stonemasons. The grounds include a log Finnish sauna built by Alex and Eugene Halone with assistance from Lauri Suikaonen in 1946–51.

The Downtown Thermopolis Historic District comprises the central business district of Thermopolis, Wyoming. The district comprises the main street, Broadway, and Fifth Street. The buildings lining the street were built between 1898 and 1923 in styles ranging from adaptations of commercial style to Victorian. The town was planned as a unit in 1896 after the land was acquired from the Shoshone and Arapaho. Broadway, as implied by its name, was built wide enough to accommodate teams of 16 mules or horses.

The South Superior Union Hall was built in 1921 in the southern part of what is now Superior, Wyoming. It is located on Main Street. The hall was built by six locals of the United Mine Workers to accommodate union and community activities in the coal-mining community of Superior, and bears the UMWA logo on its pediment, and the inscription Union Hall over the entrance. Built in 1921, the two-story brick hall's plan is a parallelogram, though to be unique for its time in Wyoming.

Wyoming Mercantile, also known as the Aladdin General Store is a preserved small-town general store in Aladdin, Wyoming. The store, which remains in operation, was built in 1896 by Amos Robinson as Wyoming Mercantile. Robinson died the same year, and the store went to Mahlon S. Kemmerer, who placed his properties, including the Wyoming and Missouri Valley Railroad, under the Wyoming Mercantile umbrella. Railroading continued until 1927. The store has continued, serving as a post office, bar, freight station and gas station.

The American Legion Hall, Post 32 is a prominent social center in Greybull, Wyoming. Built in 1922 as a temporary church, it became an American Legion hall in 1935. Used as overflow space by nearby schools, it serves a diverse range of functions in the community.
