Thibault Benistant (born 31 July 2002) is a French professional motocross rider, currently competing in the MX2 World Championship with the number 198. [2]
Benistant has won several European Motocross Championships, including the EMX 125 in 2018 and the EMX 250 in 2020. In 2020, he signed a multi-year contract with Yamaha Motor Europe to race in the MX2 World Championship with a YZ250FM in the MX2 Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Team.
During his rookie season in the World Championship, Benistant achieved two race victories and secured a podium finish at the MX2 Czech Republic Grand Prix. Despite missing the final two rounds due to injury, he finished 8th in the 2021 MX2 World Championship.
In 2022, Benistant faced a setback when he had to take five months off the bike to recover from a knee injury, causing him to miss the first three rounds of the season. However, he returned to the track and claimed a MX2 Grand Prix victory, four race wins, and five GP podiums. Despite the injury, Benistant finished 5th in the 2022 MX2 World Championship. [3]
Chad Mark Reed is an Australian motocross and supercross racer. He is a two-time AMA Supercross 450cc champion, a one-time AMA Motocross 450cc champion, record holder for the most main event starts in AMA Supercross history with 265 starts, as well as podium finishes with 132.
David Vuillemin is a French former professional motocross and supercross racer. He competed in the Motocross World Championships from 1995 to 1999 and won the 1999 supercross world championship. He competed in the AMA Motocross Championships from 2000 and 2008 before returning to the Motocross World Championships for one final season in 2009. Although Vuillemin never won a major championship, he was twice the runner-up in the AMA Supercross championships and, was one of the few competitors who could beat both Jeremy McGrath and Ricky Carmichael in their prime.
Christophe Pourcel, is a French former professional motocross and supercross racer. He competed in the Motocross World Championships and in the AMA Motocross Championships from 2004 to 2016 and then raced his final season in the 2017 CMA Canadian motocross national championship.
Tommy Searle is an English professional motocross and supercross racer. He competed in the Motocross World Championships from 2005 to 2008 and competed in the AMA Motocross Championships in 2009 and 2010. He returned to the Motocross World Championships from 2011 to 2019. Searle is a three-time MX2 World vice-champion & a four-time British Motocross Champion. His fourteen MX2 Grand Prix victories make him Britain's most successful MX2 rider and ranks third in total victories across all classes to multiple world champions David Thorpe and Jeff Smith.
Andrew McFarlane was an Australian professional motocross racer. He competed in the Motocross World Championships from 2000 to 2005 and in the AMA Motocross Championships from 2006 to 2008. McFarlane's most notable result came in 2005 when, he ranked second in the MX2 world championship. He was also a member of seven Australian Motocross des Nations teams.
Jeffrey Herlings (born 12 September 1994) is a Dutch professional motocross racer. He has competed in the Motocross World Championships since 2010. Herlings is notable for winning the 2012, 2013, and 2016 MX2 Championships; and the 2018, 2021 MXGP Championships. He has the most Grand Prix wins in MXGP history.
Ken Roczen is a German professional motocross and supercross racer. He competed in the Motocross World Championships from 2009 to 2011 and the AMA Supercross Championships since 2011. He is one of few racers to win championships in both the AMA and MXGP. He was also a member of the winning German team at the 2012 Motocross des Nations.
