"Thinkin' About You" is a song by American R&B singer Mario. It was written by Rico Love and produced by The Runners and The Monarch for his fourth studio album D.N.A. (2009). The song was released by J Records on September 4, 2009 as the album's second single. [1] [2] "Thinkin' About You" debuted at number 96 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs and eventually peaked at number 45.
"Thinkin' About You" was written by Rico Love and produced by Andrew Harr and Jermaine Jackson from The Runners as well as Andre Davidson, Sean Davidson, and Karlyn Ramsey from The Monarch. [3] The song was originally set to include a guest feature from rapper Diddy. This version remains unreleased, although it was leaked online after a version of the song instead featuring Ace Hood was leaked, the latter of which was considered the demo for the Diddy version. [4] Another leak of "Thinkin' About You" feature additional vocals from R&B singer Kelly Rowland. [5] [6]
A reviewer for music website Djbooth.net said, "With the follow-up single, the singer reaches out to fans of his more traditional R&B balladry in addition to the club crowd" also, he adds "As if Mario’s Trey Songz-esque vocals and Rico Love‘s songwriting weren’t enough to sweep this female off her feet, The Runners heighten the ambiance yet further with a steamy, synth-packed instrumental". A music video for "Thinkin' About You" was filmed in London on September 27, 2009. [7] Shot by Chris Robinson, director of the video for Mario's previous single "Break Up"(2009), it features Audra Simmons from girl group RichGirl's as the lead girl. [8] The visuals were debuted on BET's 106 & Park on October 13, 2009.

Mario Dewar Barrett, known mononymously as Mario, is an American R&B singer. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, he signed a record deal with J Records at the age of 14 and released his self-titled debut studio album (2002) to commercial success. It contained the Billboard Hot 100-top five single, "Just a Friend 2002." His second album, Turning Point (2004) was supported by the single "Let Me Love You," which peaked atop the chart, won two Billboard Music Awards, received a Grammy Award nomination, and remains his most commercially successful release.
Teairra Marí Thomas is an American rapper, singer-songwriter, dancer, and actress from Detroit, Michigan. At the age of 16, she signed with Def Jam Recordings and Jay-Z's Roc-A-Fella Records to release her debut studio album, Roc-A-Fella Records Presents Teairra Marí (2005). It peaked at number five on the Billboard 200 and was supported by the Billboard Hot 100-top 40 single, "Make Her Feel Good".

Born in New London, Connecticut, she began her musical career after meeting producer Ryan Leslie in late 2004, who signed her to his record label, NextSelection Lifestyle Group. She was then discovered by rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs, who signed her to a joint venture with his label, Bad Boy Records, to commercially release her 2006 debut single, "Me & U". Richard Preston Butler Jr., better known by his stage name Rico Love, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. He was born in New Orleans, but split his childhood between Milwaukee and New York City's Harlem neighborhood. He attended Florida A&M and, while visiting Atlanta, worked his way into the music industry through connections with singer Usher, who became one of Butler's frequent collaborators.

Formed in 2000, their foray into musical production was inspired by Timbaland and the Neptunes. Their trademark is an exhale sound effect echoing "Ahhh" at the beginning of their productions.

"Official Girl" is a song recorded by American singer Cassie. It features vocals by hip-hop rapper Lil Wayne, who wrote his guest verse, while the original composition was written by members of collective The Clutch including Balewa Muhammad, Candice Nelson, Ezekiel Lewis, along with Marcella Araica and Nathaniel "Danja" Hills. Production was also handled by Hills. The song was first released for digital download in the United States on August 5, 2008, through Bad Boy and NextSelection in association with Atlantic Records, who then serviced it to rhythmic contemporary radio stations on September 22, 2008. RichGirl was an American R&B vocal girl group, consisting of four members: Audra Simmons, Christina "Brave" Williams, Lyndriette Smith and Amber Streeter. The group was formed with the help of record producer Rich Harrison, his respective record label Richcraft Entertainment, and was managed by Tina Davis. The group drew inspiration from the musical talents of Destiny's Child, Spice Girls, SWV, En Vogue, TLC, Beyoncé, Toni Braxton, Madonna, Stevie Wonder, Angie Stone, and Michael Jackson.

It was released to urban airplay as the third single from Songz's third studio album Ready on October 13, 2009. The song features a sensual message, accompanied by heavy percussion. "I Invented Sex" received positive reviews, and reached number forty-two on the Billboard Hot 100, and became Songz's first song to top the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Its official remix features fellow R&B singers Keri Hilson and Usher. The accompanying music video, containing a parental advisory warning, is the lead-up to the "Say Aah" video.
"Loving You No More" is a song by American rapper and producer Diddy and his group Dirty Money, from their debut album, Last Train to Paris. It was written by Dawn Richard of the group, as well as Mario Winans and Canadian rapper Drake, the latter of whom featured on the song. Sean Garrett and his production group, Team S. Dot, receive writing and production credits, as does Miykal Snoddy. The song was released as the album's second single in the United States on September 21, 2010.

Born in Philadelphia and raised in Orlando, Florida, Cossom has co-written hit songs for music industry artists including Keri Hilson, DJ Khaled, Rihanna, Beyoncé and Mary J. Blige, among others. His songwriting is often accompanied with productions by the Florida-based groups the Runners, the Inkredibles, J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, DJ Nasty & LVM, and The Monarch, as well as Virginia-based producer Danja. As a recording artist, he provided an uncredited guest performance on Lloyd Banks' 2004 single, "Karma", which peaked within the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100.
"Somebody Else" is a song by American R&B singer Mario, featuring guest vocals from Trinidadian-American rapper Nicki Minaj. It was written by Mario and Minaj along with William "Anomaly" Tyler, Jeremiah Bethea, Cory McWilliams, and Jamal Jones, while production was helmed by Tyler and Polow. The upbeat tempo record heavily samples the 1975 song "Remember the Rain" by American R&B group 21st Century. Due to the sample, Marvin E. Smith is also credited as a songwriter.
