Ole Lund Kirkegaard was a Danish writer of children's and youth literature, as well as a teacher. He mainly wrote about the interactions between adults and children. Poul David Reichhardt was a Danish actor, well known for his roles in Danish 1940s/1950s comedies. Later on, he also played more serious and varied roles; he has also starred in Huset på Christianshavn, Matador and as various minor characters in the Olsen-banden films.
Jens Schou Fabricius was the Norwegian appointed Minister of the Navy 1817–1818. He served as a representative for Søe-Deffensionen at the Norwegian Constitutional Assembly at Eidsvoll in 1814. During his naval career he served first the Danish Crown until the separation in 1814 of Norway from Denmark, and thereafter the Norwegian-Swedish Crown. Fabricius retired from the navy as a vice admiral.
Knud Torben Christensen, better known by his stage name Sebastian, is a Danish singer, guitarist and composer. Starting as a musician in the late 1960s he is still active and very popular. So far his career has spanned four decades. Having worked in the folk genre, he has become one of the most prominent pop/rock musicians in Denmark and has scored numerous films and plays. Since the 1990s he has primarily worked with Danish musicals, with great success.

Kai Normann Andersen was a Danish composer who wrote film scores and music for stage revues and dramas. He composed songs for over 50 films between 1930 and 1965. In the 1930s and 1940s he dominated Danish film music. He has been called "[o]ne of the most appealing personalities of our time in the light music field". Twelve of his songs have been included in the Danish Culture Canon. Connie Hedegaard and Claus Hagen Petersen list him among the 100 most important Danes of the 20th century.

Emanuel Gregers was a Danish actor, screenwriter and film director. Gregers made 36 films during a career which extended over four decades from the Danish golden age of silent film until 1949. Critics often dismissed his work as dependable yet uninspired, however many of his light-hearted comedies achieved great popularity in Denmark. Gregers most notable films were romantic comedies starring his wives Bodil Ipsen and Marguerite Viby.
Benny Andersen was a Danish poet, author, songwriter, composer and pianist. He is often remembered for his collaboration with the singer Povl Dissing; together they released an album with Andersen's poems from the collection Svantes viser. This album and Andersen's book "Svantes viser" from 1972 were included by the Danish Ministry of Culture in the Danish Culture Canon in 2006, in the category "Popular music". Andersen's "Samlede digte" have sold more than 100,000 copies in Denmark.
Allan Hyde is a Danish actor. He is best known for his role as the 2000-year-old vampire Godric in HBO's True Blood. He has performed in several Danish films and television series.
Bodil Jørgensen is a Danish film actress. She has appeared in 40 films since 1992. She starred in The Idiots, which was entered into the 1998 Cannes Film Festival. On 18 June 2014, Jørgensen was severely injured while shooting for the film Far til fires vilde ferie on the island of Mandø. She fell off a tractor she was riding in the scene being filmed, and was crushed by it. Severe injuries to her ribs, pelvis and internal organs ensued, but she survived the accident.
A Friend in London was a Danish pop rock and rock band that represented Denmark in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf, Germany, with the song "New Tomorrow" and took fifth place in the final with 134 points. The group announced their split in 2014.
Skjulte stjerner is a Danish television variety program, hosted by Felix Smith. The program that seeks to find new singing talent, but unlike other similar music talent competition, the program doesn't have any judging panel. Votes are done by SMS and comments received online. The program premiered on 2 September 2011 and the final was held on 14 October 2011.

Augusta Sophie Wilhelmine Lütken née Schou (1855–1910) was a Danish operatic soprano who, despite her lack of formal schooling, became one of her country's most popular singers in the nine short years she performed at Copenhagen's Royal Danish Theatre. As a result of poor health, she was forced to retire in 1885 although she returned to make a few appearances in the 1890s.
