Thomas Randolph (born 7 February 1999) is a British middle distance runner. [1]

Career

He was a bronze medalist in the 800 metres at the 2021 European Athletics U23 Championships in Tallinn. [2] In August 2021, he won the British Milers Club points title. [3]

After his 2022 season was affected by injury, he ran close to his personal best in Oslo in June 2023, with a time of 1:45.75 for the 800 metres. [4] In July 2023, he ran a personal best time of 1:44.88 at the London Diamond League event. [5] [6] He won the Tampere Motonet Grand Prix, in Finland on August 8, 2023 with an 800m time of 1:45.35. [7]

In November 2023, he was named by British Athletics among the athletes on the Olympic Futures Programme for 2023-24. [8]

In May 2024, he finished second to Callum Dodds at the Belfast Milers Meet, finishing just outside his personal best in 1:44.91. [9] That month, he was selected to run the 800 metres for Britain at the 2024 European Athletics Championships in Rome. [10]

Guy Learmonth is a Scottish and Great British athlete specialising in the 800 metres. His PB currently stands as 1:44.73 and he is the 3rd fastest Scottish 800m athlete of all time. Learmonth reached the final at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and the 2015 European Indoor Championships, finishing 6th in both. He was named the GB&NI captain for the European Indoor Championships in 2019. Guy has broken the Scottish 800m Junior Record 9 times and holds the English AAA U20 Indoor & BUCS Championship records.

Jake Wightman is a British middle-distance runner who primarily competes in the 1500 metres. At the European Athletics Championships, Wightman earned a bronze in 2018 and a silver for the 800 metres in 2022. He won bronze medals at the 2018 and 2022 Commonwealth Games.
