Thor is the 8th studio album by Wizard, released January 31, 2009, by Massacre Records. [1] It is a concept album about Norse mythology and the god of thunder, Thor. It was the first Wizard album with two guitar players.
In Norse mythology, Útgarða-Loki is the ruler of the castle Útgarðr in Jötunheimr. He is one of the jötnar and his name means literally "Loki of the Outyards" or "Loki of the Outlands", to distinguish him from Loki, the companion of Thor. He was also known as Skrýmir or Skrymir.
Valhalla is a Danish comic series, which offers a comedic view of the gods of Norse mythology. Originally commissioned for and published by Interpresse, it has been published by Carlsen Comics since 1978. In 1986, Valhalla was adapted into an animated feature film the studio A Film. On October 10, 2019, a more serious and dark live action adaptation was released.

It was directed by Disney animator Jeffrey J. Varab and cartoonist Peter Madsen, the latter of which is one of the writers and the main artist on the Valhalla comics. The movie takes plot elements told from the three comic albums "Cry Wolf", "The Story of Quark" and "The Journey to Útgarða-Loki".
Goochan is Wizard's 7th studio album, released on 26 January 2007 by Massacre Records. A concept album with an ownwritten story. The story is said to be about the witch Goochan, who will try to save mother earth from armies from another planet, which tries to take over this planet. The story is also planned to be released as a book.
Ronald Jay Blumenthal, better known by his stage name Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal or simply Bumblefoot, is an American guitarist, songwriter, and producer. He adopted his nickname from the bacterial infection of the same name, which he learned about while helping his wife study for her veterinary exams. The name went from being just the name of an album, to the name of a record label, to a band name, to eventually his name as a solo artist. He was one of two lead guitarists in Guns N' Roses from 2006 until 2014 and performed on their sixth studio album Chinese Democracy. He was the guitarist for the supergroup Sons of Apollo and currently with supergroup Whom Gods Destroy; and served as the guitarist and vocalist for the band Asia from 2019 to 2022.
