Thorsten Nesch (born December 21, 1968) is a German author who lives in Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada. [1] [2]
2008 Nesch's first novel Joyride Ost was nominated for Oldenburger Kinder- und Jugendbuchpreis (as Best German YA Debut) and the Landshuter Jugendbuchpreis. 2012 the book won the Hans-im-Glück Award . [3] [4]
Nesch received national and international literary grants and was Writer in Residence in H.A.L.D. (Denmark) and in Hausach (Hausacher LeseLenz). During the LeseLenz residency he also taught YA fiction writing at the University of Education, Karlsruhe.

Jörn Lenz is a German former professional footballer who played as a defender. Lenz had four different spells with BFC Dynamo during his professional playing career and has continued to serve as part of the club's backroom staff since retiring in 2008. Lèse-majesté in Thailand is a crime according to Section 112 of the Thai Criminal Code. It is illegal to defame, insult, or threaten the monarch of Thailand. Modern Thai lèse-majesté law has been on the statute books since 1908. Thailand is the only constitutional monarchy to have strengthened its lèse-majesté law since World War II. With penalties ranging from three to fifteen years imprisonment for each count, it has been described as the "world's harshest lèse majesté law" and "possibly the strictest criminal-defamation law anywhere"; its enforcement "has been in the interest of the palace".
The Breeze: An Appreciation of JJ Cale is a collaborative studio album featuring Eric Clapton and a host of other musicians. It consists of covers of songs by J. J. Cale, who had died the previous year. It was named after Cale's 1972 single "Call Me the Breeze". It was produced by Clapton and Simon Climie. Marlene Lenz is a German Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU) politician and translator who served four terms as a Member of the European Parliament in the European Parliament from 1979 to 1999. She worked for the French Europa League, the German Atlantic Society, the European Economic Community's European Commission and was secretary-general and later vice-president of the European Union of Women. Lenz was also involved in local politics for the CDU in Bonn.
