G. N. R. Kumaravelan is an Indian film director, who works in Tamil cinema. After assisting directors Balu Mahendra and Kamal Haasan in their films, Kumaravelan's directorial debut was the 2009 film Ninaithale Inikkum, and his second was the 2011 film Yuvan Yuvathi. His third film Haridas (2013), led to him being nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Tamil Director.
Njangalude Veettile Athidhikal is a 2014 Malayalam-language family drama film directed by Sibi Malayil. It stars Jayaram, after a long gap, opposite Priyamani in the lead; Priyamani has been paired up with Jayaram for the first time. Narain, Innocent, Kalabhavan Shajon, and Lena play significant roles in the film. The movie is penned by K. Gireesh Kumar. The background score and soundtrack are composed by Bijibal and Ratheesh Vega respectively. Kalabhavan Shajon debuts as a singer in the film through the song Maaye Maaye.
Aamayum Muyalum is a 2014 Malayalam-language comedy drama film written and directed by Priyadarshan, and co-produced by Jaison Pullikkottil under the banner Full House Entertainment. It is a remake of the director's own Hindi movie Malamaal Weekly which itself was a remake of Waking Ned. The film has a cast of Jayasurya, Piaa Bajpai, Innocent, Nedumudi Venu, Anoop Menon, Harisree Ashokan and Mamukkoya in prominent roles. The music is composed by M. G. Sreekumar.
72 Model is a 2013 Indian Malayalam-language drama film directed by Rajasenan and starring Govind Padmasoorya and Sreejith Vijay. The film released alongside Akam and August Club. The film's name is based on a 1972 model of an ambassador. The film released to mixed reviews.
