Ticket to Bollywood is a reality show produced by Urban Brew Studios for NDTV and aired on NDTV Prime - India's first 2-in-1 channel on weekdays for two months, beginning from 17 March 2014.


The finale was aired on 6 June 2014. The reality show was judged by the casting director Mukesh Chhabra, Bollywood actress Mahima Chaudhary and singer Jasbir Jassi. Jassi was later replaced by director Kunal Kohli.

The winners of the show were Arjun Fauzdar and Ankitta Sharma. [1]


Hosted by singer-actor-dancer, Manasi Scott and entertainment journalist Vikram Thapa, the show auditioned almost 30,000 people across the country of which 31 were selected and a further shortlisted 20 made it to the finals.

The reality show was sponsored by Videocon D2H and VLCC. The 20 contestants were mentored by prominent Bollywood figures like Gauahar Khan, Ashley Lobo, Rajpal Yadav and many others. The main acting mentor for the contestants was Rajesh Khera who was an integral part of the reality show that spanned over 2 months of rigorous workshops and performances. Ahmad Harhash


The winners of the reality show were announced in the grand finale. Arjun Fauzdar [2] from Delhi and Ankitta Sharma [3] [4] from Chandigarh were declared winners [1] and were announced to be starring in the first NDTV and Urban Brew production which would also feature Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan.

Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout is an Indian reality game show. Aired on Imagine TV, it was the Indian version of the American reality show Wipeout on ABC. It was hosted by Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan and co-hosted by Saumya Tandon. The show consisted of a series of obstacles which the contestants must clear to move on to the next round. If a contestant fails to complete an obstacle, he is said to be wiped out. It was organized at the Wipeout course in Buenos Aires, while the end-game bits were shot with Khan at the Yash Raj Studios in Mumbai. The show started airing on 1 February 2011 at 9:00 pm and ended on 25 February 2011 with Kushal Punjabi as the winner taking home Rs. 5,000,000, while German-Polish model Claudia Ciesla was the runners-up by 51 seconds. Later this show was re-aired on Dangal TV.

<i>Indias Raw Star</i> Indian singing competition series

India's Raw Star is an Indian singing competition series created by Gajendra Singh of Saibaba Telefilms which began airing on Star Plus from 24 August 2014. It was hosted by model-actress and Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauahar Khan and mentored by singer-rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh. Rituraj Mohanty won the first season on 30 November 2014 with Darshan Raval and Mohit Gaur finishing second and third respectively. The other contestants were Sagar Bhatia, Akasa Singh, pardeep singh sran etc. Mohan Rathore, winner of a Bhojpuri singing competition 'Sur Sangram' was also one of the contestants. Arjun Kapoor and Deepika Padukone made guest appearances in the show. India's Raw Star' witnessed singers like Kailash Kher, Mohit Chauhan and Shaan perform in the final episode with finalists Rituraj, Mohit and Darshan. The finalists sang the final face off song composed by Sachin and Jigar on the occasion, while Arjun Kapoor, promoted his film Tevar.

Ankitta Sharma is an Indian television actress. She is the winner of Ticket to Bollywood. She made her television debut with Lajwanti. Ankitta is best known for portraying the role of Naina Chauhan in Ek Shringaar-Swabhiman. She has also appeared in Yeh Vaada Raha as the antagonist and in Laal Ishq . She played the lead role in ZEE5 series Ishq Aaj Kal and recently appeared in The Whistleblower.

<i>Bigg Boss</i> (Hindi season 13) Season of television series

Bigg Boss 13, also known as Bigg Boss Tedha, was the thirteenth and the greatest season of the Indian reality TV series Bigg Boss and premiered on 1 October 2019 on Colors TV. Salman Khan hosted the season for the tenth time. The finale was scheduled for January, but it was given a one-month extension, and became the second-longest season. The grand finale of the show took place on 15 February 2020, and Sidharth Shukla was announced as the winner whereas Asim Riaz became the runner-up. It became the most successful Bigg Boss season since the inception of the series and also the most watched. Bigg Boss 13 had an average 2.1-2.5 TRP every week.

It premiered on 2 October 2021 on Colors TV Salman Khan hosted the season for the twelve time. and the grand finale aired on 30 January 2022 where Tejasswi Prakash emerged as the winner and Pratik Sehajpal emerged as the runner-up. The season marked a series of disappointments for the franchise and the show recorded the lowest TRP of just 0.8.
