Drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 34th round of the 1992 Major League Baseball draft,Harikkala would make his Major League Baseball debut with Seattle on May 27,1995.
Harikkala made his first start in his only appearance in the majors in 1996. He played for Samsung Lions and LG Twins in South Korea from 2005 to 2007. He would make 71 major league relief appearances before making his second major league start for the Colorado Rockies on August 12,2007. With 4,021 days passing between these two starts,Harikkala holds the MLB record for time elapsed between two starts.
Harikkala was a member of the York Revolution of the Atlantic League.
Harikkala played in SM-league in Finland (Finnish Baseball and Softball Federation (FBSF)) during the 2010 season.
Harikkala has spent time after his pro baseball career playing for the Hortonville Stars of the Dairyland League in Hortonville,WI
In 2017,Harikkala was named Varsity Head Coach for the Appleton Xavier Hawks baseball team in Appleton,Wisconsin.

Peter Joseph Incaviglia, is an American former professional baseball left fielder, who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for 12 seasons (1986–1998), for six different big league teams, also spending one year in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB). Incaviglia was drafted in the first round by the Montreal Expos in the 1985 Major League Baseball draft out of Oklahoma State University, then was traded later that same year to the Texas Rangers. He debuted in the major leagues on April 8, 1986, without having spent any time in the minor leagues. His last MLB game was on September 27, 1998. Incaviglia is currently the manager for the Tri-City ValleyCats of the Frontier League.

He played for the Cleveland Indians, the San Francisco Giants, and the Texas Rangers in Major League Baseball as well as the Samsung Lions in the Korea Baseball Organization. Garko was seen by former ESPN reporter John Sickels as a good hitter who hit to all parts of the field, but with poor defensive instincts. Through 2010, he had a .275 career average, 427 hits, 55 home runs, and 250 RBI in 463 games.
