Tim Montez is an American college baseball coach, formerly serving as head coach of the Jacksonville Dolphins baseball team. He assumed this position prior to the 2014 season. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
Montez was a four-year letterwinner as a pitcher at Pepperdine, where he compiled a 19–11 record with three saves. He led the Waves to the Southern California Baseball Association title in his senior season, and earned All-Conference honors. He was a first round pick by the Mexico City Reds and played two seasons before returning to the United States. While redshirting at Pepperdine, Montez coached at Esperanza High School, leading them to a playoff appearance and a 1.86 ERA. [1]
Montez was 1st hired by Pepperdine's Andy Lopez as a pitching coach, where he remained for two seasons. He returned to the high school ranks, assisting Montclair College Preparatory School for three seasons, including the 1991 CA state championship season. Montez then spent three seasons as pitching coach at UC Santa Barbara followed by one season as pitching coach and recruiting coordinator at Cal State Northridge. Next, he served for five seasons at Arkansas, where he served as recruiting coordinator and helped the Razorbacks to their first SEC titles and a super regional appearance. Montez spent three seasons as pitching coach and recruiting coordinator where he helped assemble three consecutive top 15 recruiting classes on the West Coast at Fresno State before moving to Jacksonville for his first collegiate head coaching position. At Jacksonville Montez was part of 4 NCAA Regionals and 3 Conference Championships. Overall, Montez has coached in 9 NCAA Regionals and 1 Super Regional. Montez has coached several 1st round draft picks and numerous MLB players such as Russ Ortiz, Michael Young, Cliff Lee, Matt Garza, Doug Fister... Montez is known for his legendary "ikik" to get his players attention. [1] [3]

Andrew Lopez is an American former college baseball coach. He was most recently the head baseball coach at the University of Arizona, and has served as the head baseball coach at Cal State Dominguez Hills, Pepperdine, and Florida. Lopez compiled an overall win–loss record of 1,177–742–7 in thirty-three seasons as a head coach.
David Scott Serrano is an American baseball coach and pitcher. Serrano formerly served as head coach at Cerritos College from 1984 to 1985 and at California State University, Fullerton from 1986 to 1987 for coach Augie Garrido. Mitch Gaspard is an American college baseball coach and former second baseman. He is the hitting coach and recruiting coordinator at Louisiana Tech University. Gaspard played college baseball at Louisiana State University from 1984 to 1985 before transferring to the University of Houston where he played from 1986 to 1987. He is the former head coach of the Alabama Crimson Tide baseball team. Gaspard agreed to a 3-year contract on September 1, 2009, starting in 2010. The 2010 season was Gaspard's first season as the head coach of the Crimson Tide. He had been on the Alabama coaching staff for ten years, and was given the head coaching position when Jim Wells retired. He resigned from Alabama on May 30, 2016.
John Joseph Savage is an American baseball coach and former pitcher, who currently serves as the head baseball coach for the UCLA Bruins. He played college baseball at Santa Clara for coaches Jerry McClain and John Oldham from 1984 to 1986 before playing in Minor League Baseball (MiLB) for three seasons (1986-1988). After serving as an assistant coach with Nevada and USC in the 1990s, he became the head coach for the UC Irvine Anteaters (2002–04). Savage became UCLA's head baseball coach in July 2004 and has guided the Bruins in that role for the past 18 seasons.
The UT Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros baseball team, or the UTRGV Vaqueros, is the varsity intercollegiate baseball team of the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, an NCAA Division I institution with several campuses in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas, United States. UTRGV was formally founded in 2013 with the announced merger of the University of Texas–Pan American (UTPA), with its main campus in Edinburg, and the University of Texas at Brownsville (UTB) in Brownsville, with the merged university beginning operation in the 2015–16 school year. The Vaqueros compete in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC), play home games at UTRGV Baseball Stadium in Edinburg, and are coached by Derek Matlock.
Tim Jamieson is an American baseball coach and former catcher, who is the pitching coach for the Missouri Tigers. He played college baseball at New Orleans from 1978 to 1981. He then served as the head coach of the Missouri Tigers (1995–2016). The second winningest coach in school history, Jamieson coached in 3 conferences, and took his teams to 9 NCAA Regionals, winning two conference championships in the process.
Troy William Buckley is an American college baseball coach and former catcher. He is the pitching coach for the Fresno State Bulldogs. He played college baseball at Santa Clara University from 1987 to 1989 for coach John Oldham. He served as the head coach at California State University, Long Beach from 2011 season until April 11, 2019. He has also coached in the minor league systems of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Montreal Expos.
Matthew Aaron Curtis is an American college baseball coach and former catcher. He played college baseball at Fresno State University from 1993 to 1996 for coach Bob Bennett. He was the head coach of the California State University, Northridge from 2011 to 2033.

Eric Matthew Valenzuela in an American baseball coach and former pitcher, who is the current head baseball coach of the Saint Mary’s. He played college baseball at Arizona State in 1997 before transferring to Pepperdine where he played from 1999 to 2001. He then served as the head coach of the Saint Mary’s (2014–2019).
Barret L. Rey is an American college baseball coach. Rey previously served as head coach of the Grambling State Tigers baseball team from 2007 through 2009 and the Alcorn State Braves baseball team from 2010 through 2015.
Barry Myers was an American former college baseball and men's soccer coach. He was the head baseball coach at both Jacksonville, from 1967 to 1973, and Mercer, from 1978 to 2003. At Jacksonville, he led the Dolphins to their first two NCAA tournaments, one each in the College and University Divisions. At Mercer, he won three TAAC Tournaments and was named TAAC Coach of the Year four times. A native West Virginian, Myers attended Marshall University, where he played baseball for the Thundering Herd under head coach Bill Chambers. He was also Mercer's soccer coach from 1974 to 1976, amassing a 12–21–3 overall record.
Mark Van Ameyde is a college baseball coach who is currently the pitching coach for the Michigan State Spartans baseball team. He previously served as the head baseball coach of the Eastern Michigan Eagles baseball program. He was named to that position prior to the 2015 season.
