Tim Morris (priest)

The Very Reverend Timothy David Morris [1] was Dean of Edinburgh from 1992 to 2001.

Born in 1948 and educated at London University, he was ordained after a period of study at Trinity College, Bristol Deacon in 1975 [2] and priest in 1976. He was the curate at St Thomas, Edinburgh then held incumbencies in Edinburgh, Troon and Galashiels. [3] before his time as Dean.

He was Synod Clerk for the Diocese of Argyll and The Isles from 1977 to 1979 and then its Dean until 1987. He died on 18 November 1988.
