TimothyShieff is an English freerunner. He won the Barclaycard World Freerun Championship in 2009 and participated on the television programme MTV's Ultimate Parkour Challenge . He has also competed on American Ninja Warrior and Ninja Warrior UK .

Career

Shieff won the 2009 Barclaycard World Freerun Championship [1] and participated on the television programme MTV's Ultimate Parkour Challenge.[ citation needed ] In 2013, Shieff filmed himself climbing and running along the Derby skyline. After concerns from the police, he clarified that he practised the moves and the route beforehand. [2]

Shieff took part in the filming of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows , in the role of a Death Eater. [3]

Personal life

He had been a vegan since 2012 due to ethical and health reasons. [4] In 2018, while trying to heal some gut problems, he had a meal of salmon and raw eggs, but said it wasn't something he'd do again. [5] [6] As a result, vegan clothing company ETHCS dropped him from their label. [7] In April 2019, Tim appeared on ITV's This Morning, and explained his decision to discontinue veganism due to health reasons. [8]

Health improvement

Shieff supports various unconventional methods to improve health. On his YouTube channel, Shieff states that he believes water-fasting with distilled water can relieve the body from the task of digesting food, allows it to focus more energy on healing injuries and diseases. [9] He also shows his support for inclined bed therapy and urine therapy, appearing in October 2018 on YouTube channel London Real where he consumed his own urine, stating that urine "is from you and it’s for you". [10] [6] [11] Shieff also completed a 35-day water fast in July 2018. [12]

Jump City: Seattle is an American television series that aired on G4 from February 15 to April 5, 2011. It featured four of the top freerunning and parkour teams in the United States participating in a parkour competition. Each week, the athletes competed in different parkour challenges spread out across the streets of Seattle. The series ran for eight episodes and was not renewed for a second season. Team Tempest, led by Levi Meeuwenberg and Brian Orosco of American Ninja Warrior fame, won the competition.

Ninja Warrior UK is a British physical obstacle assault course game show, created for ITV. The show is based upon the format of the Japanese game show Sasuke, created by Ushio Higuchi, which is aired in the United Kingdom and other countries as Ninja Warrior.

It features an American Ninja Warrior team from the United States competing against teams from other countries around the world, including Japan, Europe, Latin America, Asia, and Australia, for bragging rights and the American Ninja Warrior: USA vs. The World trophy. The competitors race on the same Mount Midoriyama course used in the National Finals on the Las Vegas Strip.
