Time in Malta was an American band from San Francisco, California.
Time in Malta was a post-hardcore band formed in San Francisco, CA in 1998. All original members were originally from Indianapolis, Indiana. [1] After recording a demo at Toast Studios, the band signed to Escape Artist Records and released its debut EP in July 1999. This lineup included lead vocalist/bassist Todd Gullion, drummer Sander Leech, and guitarist Chris Lyon. In 2001, Ryan Downey joined the group as lead vocalist, and former lead vocalist/bassist Todd Gullion continued on bass and backing vocals. The band played one show with this line up at legendary 924 Gilman Street; soon after Ryan left the band on good terms. 2002 saw the release of A Second Engine, their first full-length album, and their first release on Equal Vision Records. The band attracted attention for its openly political lyrical stances. [2] Sander Leech having prior obligations could not go out to support the record so Eric Alexander joined playing drums. Todd Gullion asked friend Jesse Hayes to step in and play bass so he could focus on vocals. This lineup toured heavily for a year and a half. Eric Alexander parted ways with the band and moved to Los Angeles to focus on session drumming. The winter of 2003 Sander Leech returned for a brief tour supporting Year of the Rabbit and Thursday. Sander contributed to early songwriting for Alone with the Alone, but the record was eventually performed by new drummer Adam Goldstein. 2004 saw the release Time In Malta’s final studio album, issued on Equal Vision Records. [3] The band disbanded winter of 2004.
Soon after the breakup Jesse Hayes went on to play for San Francisco pop band LoveLikeFire, leaving the band in 2007.
Chris Lyon went on to form San Francisco based pop band Rescue Me which has since disbanded.
As of September 2009, Jesse Hayes, Sander Leech and Todd Gullion reunited for new project titled Drawn Deep. The trio recorded a demo with keyboard contributions from Chris Lyon, which has not been released.

The Criminals are an American punk rock band from Berkeley, California, originally existing from 1994–2000 and reforming in 2012. The lineup has consisted of lead vocalist Jesse Luscious and bass guitarist Mike Sexxx throughout the bands' existence. The Criminals have released two studio albums, Never Been Caught (1997) on Lookout! Records and Burning Flesh and Broken Fingers (1999) on Adeline Records. Following their initial breakup in 2000, members went on to form the Frisk.

Catch 22 is an American ska punk band from East Brunswick Township, New Jersey. The band was formed in 1996 by guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Tomas Kalnoky, who left the band in 1998 and later formed Streetlight Manifesto. Founding members still in the band are vocalist/saxophonist Ryan Eldred, trumpeter Kevin Gunther and drummer Chris Greer. While largely inactive since 2012, the band announced a spate of shows in 2015.

Embrace the End were a metalcore band from Sacramento, California, formed in 1999. Originally consisting of only four members, the band went through several line-up changes, at one point having as many as six members, including two vocalists. However, shortly after the departure of vocalist Pat Piccolo following the release of their major label debut in 2005, they decided to continue with only Jesse Alford on vocals. Throughout their history, they featured members of the bands First Blood, Killing the Dream, and Alcatraz. After a series of small independent releases with various line-ups, Counting Hallways to the Left was released on CD in summer 2005 on Abacus Records. Steady touring for band occurred in the years that followed across the United States, through the release of their second and final album Ley Lines in 2008. The band has since been on indefinite hiatus, engaging in various independent musical projects.
Liars Academy was a rock band from Baltimore, Maryland formed in 2000. They have released their material on Equal Vision Records and Goodwill Records. The band has included members/former members of Cross My Heart, Dead Red Sea, Daybreak, and Strike Anywhere.
PAX217 is an American Christian rock band from Orange County, California. The band's music gained popularity in the Christian rock scene in the early 2000s. PAX217's lineup consists of David Tosti on vocals, Jesse Craig on guitar, Josh Auer on bass, Joey Marchiano on drums, Chris "Tito" Duran on keyboards, and Bobby "Bobbito the Chef" Duran on turntables. Former members include Ethan Luck on guitar, Dan Sessum on guitar, and David Tosti's younger brother Aaron "Skwid" Tosti, who later played in Hawk Nelson, on drums. The band began in 1994 and broke up in 2005, but reunited in 2010.
One King Down was a straight edge hardcore band from Albany, New York, that recorded and performed from 1994 until 2001.
Quazar is the debut album from the band Quazar. The band was led by former P-Funk vocalist Glenn Goins, who also served as the producer and arranger of the album. Goins died before the album's release, effectively sealing the group's fate. The album was released by Arista Records in the fall of 1978, after Funkadelic's One Nation Under A Groove but before Parliament (band)'s Motor Booty Affair, that same year. The album also features contributions from former P-Funk drummer Jerome Brailey. Both Glenn Goins and Jerome Brailey were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Parliament-Funkadelic.
Turn It Around! is a punk rock compilation album by Maximumrocknroll. Originally released as two 7-inch records in October 1987, it served as a benefit to raise money for the Berkeley, California DIY punk scene. The compilation featured the first appearances of many bands who would later become well known outside of the scene, including Operation Ivy, Crimpshrine and Isocracy. Due to the poor sound quality of the original 7-inch version, Turn It Around! was reissued by Very Small Records in September 1991 as one LP. However, the compilation is currently out of print and has never seen a CD release.
Stolas was an American post-hardcore band from Las Vegas, Nevada formed in 2011. The band consisted of Carlo Marquez, and Sergio Medina. The band was signed as the first band on Blue Swan Records in 2013, a record label launched by Will Swan of Dance Gavin Dance. They have released one EP, Losing Wings (2012) and three studio albums, Living Creatures (2013), Allomaternal (2014), and Stolas (2017). The group signed to Equal Vision Records in 2016.
Tracing Back Roots is the third studio album by American metalcore band We Came as Romans. It was released on July 23, 2013, through Equal Vision Records. The album is noted for the band's shift from their signature metalcore sound to a more melodic, clean vocal driven sound, while still maintaining metalcore elements throughout. The album has been received with favorable reviews which praise the band's “go out and do something with your life with purpose” message.
A Bullet for Pretty Boy was an American metalcore band from Longview, Texas. The band started making music in 2006. The band released an independently made album, Beauty in the Eyes of the Beholder, in 2008. They signed to Razor & Tie and Artery Recordings, where they released, Revision:Revise, a studio album, in 2010. Their subsequent studio album, Symbiosis, was released by Razor & Tie alongside Artery Recordings, in 2012. The band is on hiatus as of 2015, with vocalist Danon Saylor forming a new band with For Today and Silent Planet members called Nothing Left.
