Timo Kautonen (born 12 March 1945) is a Finnish footballer. [1] He played in 42 matches for the Finland national football team from 1964 to 1976. [2] He played for over 20 seasons in Lahti based clubs, mostly for Reipas Lahti. [3]

He spent most of his career at Bundesliga club Werder Bremen which he represented in the UEFA Champions League in multiple seasons, and in the 2009 UEFA Cup Final. At international level, he made 76 appearances for the Finland national team scoring one goal.
