Timothy Kiptanui Too (born 5 January 1980 in Kakiptui) is a Kenyan former 1500 metres runner who finished fourth at the 2004 Summer Olympics. His personal best over 1500 m of 3:30.04 minutes, achieved in 2004, was the third best time in the world that season, only behind Bernard Lagat and Hicham El Guerrouj. He won the Memorial Van Damme meet on the 2004 IAAF Golden League circuit.
He graduated from Nanyuki High School in 1999. In 2003 he won two local meetings and run several races in Europe, although mostly as a pacemaker. The 2004 season proved to be the sole highlight of his career as he did not represent Kenya thereafter or win any major meets. He did not compete in top-level competition after 2009.
He is managed by Gianni Demadonna and coached by Francis Songol.

Hicham El Guerrouj is a retired Moroccan middle-distance runner. El Guerrouj is the current world record holder for the 1500 metres and mile, and the former world record holder in the 2000 metres. He is the only man since Paavo Nurmi to win a gold medal in both the 1500 m and 5000 metres at the same Olympic Games.
Moses Kiptanui is a Kenyan middle and long distance athlete mostly famous for 3000 metres steeplechase in which he was the number one ranked athlete from 1991 to 1995 and three time IAAF World Champion. Kiptanui was the first man to ever run the 3000m steeplechase in under eight minutes. He is also known for his coaching role in his later years with Tarbert GAA.

He was, for 19 years, the world record holder for 3000 metre steeplechase. He is a two time World Champion in the event. His older brother Abraham Cherono is also a steeplechase runner.
Richard Kipkemboi Mateelong is a Kenyan professional long-distance runner who specializes in the 3000 metre steeplechase. He won an Olympic bronze medal at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and he has two World Championship medals in the discipline.
Michael Kipkorir Kipyego is a Kenyan runner who competes in marathon races. He was initially a specialist in the 3000 metres steeplechase and was the 2002 World Junior Champion in the event. He represented Kenya in the steeplechase at the World Championships in 2003 and was runner-up at the 2008 African Championships. He set a personal best of 8:08.48 in 2009.
