Li Jiawei is a retired Chinese-born former Singaporean table tennis player,four-time Olympian and twice Olympic medalist. She trained in Beijing's famous Shichahai Sports School with Olympic medalist Zhang Yining. In 1995,she moved to Singapore and in the following year,she commenced her international career as a competitive table tennis player. She became a Singapore citizen at the age of 18 years under the Foreign Sports Talent Scheme.
Wang Liqin is a retired Mainland Chinese table tennis player. He began playing at the age of 6 and was picked for the Chinese men's national squad in 1993 when he was only 15 years old. He holds three majors. He has been ranked #1 by ITTF for 25 consecutive months,from September 2000 to September 2002,which is the second-longest period for being consecutive #1 of the world as of January 2011. At the end of 2013,Wang Liqin retired from the national team.
Ryu Seung-min is a South Korean table tennis player who won the gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in the men's singles competition. His opponent was Wang Hao,a top-seeded player from the Chinese national team. Along the way,he defeated 1992 Olympic champion Jan-Ove Waldner with 4–1. At the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics he was part of the South Korean team that won the bronze and silver medals respectively. Ryu is ranked twenty-fifth in the world as of July 2013. In 2016,Ryu became a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC),he was a member and Chair of the Athletes' Commission of the South Korean National Olympic Committee from 2016 to 2019. Since 2018,he counts among the ITTF Foundation Ambassadors,promoting sport for development and peace.

Wang Yuegu is a retired Chinese-born Singaporean table tennis player who was ranked among the top ten players in the world. Wang made her inaugural appearance as a Singaporean table tennis player on the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Pro Tour in June 2005 at the Volkswagen Korean Open in Suncheon,South Korea,where she and Sun Beibei took the silver medal in the women's doubles. On 24 September 2006,Wang achieved her first gold medal on the Pro Tour at the Japan Open in Yokohama. In June 2007,Wang helped Singapore sweep the women's team,women's doubles and mixed doubles gold trophies at the 17th Commonwealth Table Tennis Championships in Jaipur.

Erica Shen-Ning Wu is an American table tennis player who competed in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. She was the 2011 and 2012 US national champion in women's doubles and reached the semifinals in women's singles at the 2011,2012 and 2013 US national championships. She was part of the US team that won the bronze medal at the 2011 Pan American Games. At the 2012 North American Championships,Wu was the runner-up in women's singles behind fellow Olympian Lily Zhang. As of 2018 she was a senior at Princeton University studying computer science. Between 2018 and 2022,she worked as a Software Engineer at Meta.
