Innsbruck is the capital of Tyrol and the fifth-largest city in Austria. On the River Inn, at its junction with the Wipp Valley, which provides access to the Brenner Pass 30 km (19 mi) to the south, it had a population of 132,493 in 2018.

Tiroler Wasserkraft Arena is an indoor sporting arena located in Innsbruck, Austria. The arena has a capacity of 3,000 people and was built in 2005 for the 2005 World Ice Hockey Championships. It is currently the home arena of HC Innsbruck who play in the Austrian Hockey League.
Prutz is a municipality in the Landeck district in the Austrian state of Tyrol. Located at the mouth of the Kauner valley on the upper Inn, it is 10 km south of the city of Landeck and 36 km north of Reschen Pass, that forms the border to Italy. Lake Achen is a lake in Austria, north of Jenbach in Tyrol. Lake Achen is also called "Fjord of the Alps" and "Tyrolean Sea". The largest lake within the federal state, its maximum depth is 133 metres (436 ft). Together with the Achen Valley, it parts the Karwendel mountain range in the west from the Brandenberg Alps in the east.
The Raiders Tirol are an American football team based in Innsbruck, Austria. Founded in 1992, the Raiders since have become one of Austria's and Europe's most dominant American football teams, winning the Eurobowl title three times and the CEFL also three times (2017–2019). Competing in the Austrian Football League (AFL), the team has won the league championship eight times, most recently in 2021. In 2022, the Raiders joined the ELF, the European League of Football.

The Upper Tamakoshi Hydroelectric Project is a 456 MW peaking run-of-the-river hydroelectric project in Nepal. It is the largest hydroelectric project in Nepal, operating since July 2021. It is sited on the Tamakoshi River, a tributary of the Sapt Koshi river, near the Nepal–Tibet border.
The Albanian Power Corporation, known as KESH – Energy of Albania, is the largest government-owned electricity producing company in Albania. KESH operates the most important electricity generating plants in the country. They include: The Drin River Cascade hydropower plants, with an installed power capacity of 1,350 MW, and the Vlora TPP, with an installed power capacity of 98 MW. The cascade, built on the Drin River, is the largest in the Balkan region by installed capacity, as well as by the size of the hydropower plants.

Amlach power station is a diversionary-run-of-the-river hydroelectricity power generating station on the Drava river in Austria. The power station is operated by Tiroler Wasserkraft (TIWAG) on river water flowing between Tassenbach, Strassen, Tyrol and Amlach, near Lienz.
The Tiroler Sparkasse Bankaktiengesellschaft Innsbruck was founded in 1822 and holds a leading position in its regional market with a market share of around 30 % for private customers and almost 50 % for corporate customers. It has around 153,500 customers. The focus is on private customers, freelancers and small and medium-sized enterprises. Tiroler Sparkasse is part of the Sparkassengruppe Österreich. It is also a member of the Savings Banks Liability Association, which guarantees the payment of customer deposits in excess of the legally guaranteed amount of € 100,000.
Nyamwamba II Hydroelectric Power Station, is a 7.8 megawatts mini-hydroelectric power station, that was commercially commissioned in March 2022 in Uganda. The run of river mini-hydroelectric installation is owned and was developed, between October 2019 and March 2022, by Serengeti Energy Limited, a Kenyan independent power producer (IPP), which was formerly called responsAbility Renewable Energy Holding (rAREH). The energy generated here is sold directly to the Ugandan electricity transmission parastatal company, Uganda Electricity Transmission Company Limited (UETCL), under a 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA). The power is integrated into the Ugandan national electric grid.
