Tisha Monique is a British singer and actress, best known for being a member of the R&B band The 411. As an actress, she is best known as Missy in Kerching! , and Ella in The Basil Brush Show .
Martin attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School in London.
Martin first appeared on British television in the CBBC sitcom Kerching! [1] as the character Missy Lewis. She played the sister of the main character, Taj. Missy worked in the Chill Out Grill as one of the idle waitresses who were rude to the customers and did little work as they spent most of their time texting or talking on their mobiles.[ citation needed ]
Her next part was in the also CBBC sitcom The Basil Brush Show , where she played the character of Ella, Molly's next door neighbour. Presently,[ when? ] Martin is a reader on Jackanory Junior every Sunday on CBeebies.
In 2003 Martin joined the girl group The 411 who enjoyed moderate success releasing three singles, two of which reached the UK top 5 and 1 album before disbanding in 2008, however stating they would potentially reform in the future if the time was right.
On 30 March 2020 Martin released her debut single "Leave Your Mind" and continues to record and perform.
On 8 December 2021 it was confirmed that The 411 would reform and perform at ‘Mighty Hoopla’ in June 2022. [2] On 12 May 2022 Monique released her debut EP.

Basil Brush is a fictional fox best known for his appearances on daytime British children's television. The 411 are an English girl group comprising Carolyn Owlett, Tisha Martin and Tanya Bryson. The group was formed in late 2002 after Martin and Bryson sang backing vocals on Lemar's version of Al Green's "Let's Stay Together". The 411 took its name from the Mary J. Blige album What's the 411? (1992). The group released one studio album, Between the Sheets, and three top-forty singles before disbanding for the first time in 2005.
The Basil Brush Show is a British children's television sitcom series, starring the glove puppet fox Basil Brush. It was produced for six series by The Foundation, airing on CBBC from 27 September 2002 to 25 December 2007. The show is a spin-off from the original 1960s–1970s BBC television series, but without any of the original cast.

Cousin Skeeter is an American sitcom, that originally aired on Nickelodeon from 1998 to 2002. It starred Robert Ri'chard as Bobby, a young boy whose life is changed when his strange cousin, Skeeter, comes to stay with his family. With Skeeter's help, Bobby learns life lessons and tackles the ups and downs of growing up. The show also included Meagan Good as Bobby's friend Nina, Rondell Sheridan as Bobby's father Andre, and Angela Means as Bobby's mother Vanessa. Skeeter is portrayed by a hand puppet with Bill Bellamy providing his voice, and Drew Massey performing the puppetry, assisted by Alice Dinnean. Within the show, Skeeter is treated like a regular human and no mention of him being a puppet is made. Although the series was shot in a single-camera format, the show used a laugh track.
