Titankayuq (Quechua titanka Puya raimondii, [1] -yuq a suffix to indicate ownership, "the one with titanka", other spellings Titancayoc, Titancayocc, Titankayoc, Titankayocc, Tutanccayoc) is one of the most important habitats in Peru for the Puya raimondii. The woods of Puya raimondii are located in the Ayacucho Region, Vilcas Huamán Province, Vischongo District, at elevations between 3,250 metres (10,663 ft) and 4,250 metres (13,944 ft). [2] [3]
Puya raimondii, also known as queen of the Andes (English), titanka (Quechua) or puya de Raimondi (Spanish), is the largest species of bromeliad, reaching up to 15 meters in height. It is native to the high Andes of Bolivia and Peru.

Lake Pomacocha is a lake in Peru located in the Ayacucho Region, Vilcas Huamán Province. at a height of about 3,300 m. It is situated southwest of the town of Vischongo. Pomacocha is 0.86 km long and 0.17 km at its widest point. The archaeological site called Inti Watana or Pomacocha lies at its shore.

It is situated at a height of about 3,700 metres (12,139 ft) on top of the mountain Pukara (Pucará). This place is also interesting as a natural viewpoint.
