Tobias Verwey (born 2 November 1981) is a Namibian former cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and a wicket-keeper. He played first-class cricket with the Namibian cricket team between 2005 and the 2010–11 South African season,having represented the team in 12 Youth One Day Internationals between 2000 and 2002. [1]
He played for Namibia's Under-19 World Cup squads of 2000 and 2002 before stepping up to the first-team squad. He has since played in the respective tours to Namibia of the Pakistani and Bermudan teams.[ citation needed ]
In December 2006,Verwey scored his first century for the Namibian team,against the United Arab Emirates.[ citation needed ]
Jeffrey William Wilson is a New Zealand sportsman who has represented his country in both rugby union and cricket –a so-called "Double All Black",an increasingly rare achievement in the professional era. He is also a basketballer,and won national secondary school titles in track and field. With 44 tries in 60 tests,Wilson is ranked thirteenth on the list of highest test try scorers in rugby. The ICC 6 Nations Challenge was a cricket tournament played every two years between 2000 and 2004. It was a tournament involving the best associate members of the International Cricket Council,who were joined in the first two tournaments by A teams from Zimbabwe (2000+2002) and Sri Lanka. Its place has been taken in the international cricket calendar by the ICC World Cricket League Championship,which performs the same function.

The eight Associate Members of the International Cricket Council that have T20I status were scheduled to take part. However,Papua New Guinea declined to participate and were replaced by Namibia. Therefore,matches with Namibia were played as Twenty20 matches.
The 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off was the inaugural edition of the Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off,a cricket tournament which formed part of the 2023 Cricket World Cup qualification process. It took place in March and April 2023,with all matches having One Day International (ODI) status,regardless of whether or not a team had ODI status prior to the start of the event. As a result,Jersey played their first ever matches with ODI status.
The 2021 Summer T20 Bash was a series of Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket matches played in the United Arab Emirates in October 2021 between Ireland,Namibia,Papua New Guinea,Scotland and the United Arab Emirates. The UAE played one match against Namibia and three matches against Ireland,Scotland played one match against Namibia and one against Papua New Guinea,and Papua New Guinea and Namibia played one match against each other. The matches were used as preparation for the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup.
