Tom Meeten (born 30 April 1974) is an English comedian, actor and writer. [1]
Meeten was born in Northampton. He graduated in 1996 from Sheffield Hallam University after studying Fine Arts. His performing career began in a comedy double act alongside Steve Oram, with whom he created three shows at the Edinburgh Festival, performed a monthly London live show Oram and Meeten's Club Fantastico with Waen Shepherd, Tony Way and Alice Lowe, and wrote and starred in Matthew and Tone: Tales of Friendship and Innocence for Channel 4. He has appeared in many television comedies including The Mighty Boosh , [3] Star Stories , Blunder (2006), Motherland , The IT Crowd , Detectorists , Miranda and Skins . He played numerous characters on the sketch show Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy and toured with Fielding from 2014-2015. He has appeared in feature films Paddington, Aaaaaaaah! (directed by Oram), Tank 432 , Prevenge , Burke and Hare , and Weekender .
He co-wrote and starred in Blunder , and wrote sketches for That Mitchell and Webb Look . In 2018 he was nominated for a BAFTA (Outstanding Debut by a British Writer, Director or Producer) for his role in producing on The Ghoul , a British psychological horror in which he also played the lead role.
The Mighty Boosh is a British comedy troupe featuring comedians Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding. Developed from three stage shows and a six-episode radio series, it has since spanned a total of 20 television episodes for BBC Three which aired from 2004 to 2007, and two live tours of the UK, as well as two live shows in the United States. The first television series is set in a zoo operated by Bob Fossil, the second in a flat and the third in a secondhand shop in Dalston called Nabootique.

Sergio Lorenzo "Serge" Pizzorno is an English musician, best known for his work with the rock band Kasabian. He is Kasabian's primary songwriter since the departure of co-composer Christopher Karloff in 2006, and also the band's co-lead singer, and later being the sole lead singer following the 2020 sacking of Tom Meighan. He is also a member of Loose Tapestries alongside Noel Fielding and fellow Kasabian member Tim Carter, a group put together to produce music for Fielding's TV series Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy.

The Mighty Boosh is a British surreal comedy television series created by Julian Barratt and Noel Fielding. Starring the comedy troupe The Mighty Boosh, it often featured elaborate musical numbers in different genres, such as electro, heavy metal, funk and rap. The series is known for popularising a style called "crimping", short a cappella songs which are present throughout all three series. Julian Barratt wrote the music within the show, and performed it with Noel Fielding. Fielding also designed many of the show's graphics and artwork.

Noel Fielding's Luxury Comedy, known as Luxury Comedy 2: Tales from Painted Hawaii for series two, is a British surreal comedy television series written and directed by Noel Fielding and Nigel Coan. The initial format for the series changes after the first series, with series one being a surreal sketch show, and series two being a sitcom. The series stars Noel Fielding, his brother Michael Fielding, Tom Meeten, Dolly Wells, and occasionally Rich Fulcher, Dave Brown, and Richard Ayoade. The first episode premiered on 26 January 2012 on E4. The music for the first series was written by Noel Fielding and Kasabian's Sergio Pizzorno, a good friend of Fielding's, under the band name Loose Tapestries. The duo were joined for the second series by Kasabian touring member, Tim Carter.
