Warren County is a county located in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2020 census,the population was 242,337. Its county seat is Lebanon and largest city is Mason. The county is one of Ohio's most affluent,with the highest median income of the state's 88 counties. The county was established on May 1,1803,from Hamilton County;it is named for Dr. Joseph Warren,a hero of the Revolution who sent Paul Revere and the overlooked William Dawes on their famous rides and who died at the Battle of Bunker Hill. Warren County is part of the Cincinnati,OH-KY-IN Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Loveland is a city in Hamilton,Clermont,and Warren counties in the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Ohio. The population was 13,307 at the 2020 census. Considered part of the Cincinnati metropolitan area,Loveland is located near exit 52 off Interstate 275,about 15 miles (24 km) northeast of the Cincinnati city limits. Robert D. McEwen is an American lobbyist and former Republican Party politician. He was a member of the United States House of Representatives from southern Ohio's Sixth District,from January 3,1981,to January 3,1993. Tom Deimer of Cleveland's Plain Dealer described him as a "textbook Republican" who is opposed to abortion,gun control and high taxes. In the House,he criticized government incompetence and charged corruption by the Democratic majority that ran the House in the 1980s. McEwen,who had easily won three terms in the Ohio House,was elected to Congress at the age of thirty to replace a retiring representative in 1980 and easily won re-election five times.

Hackett,a Democrat,narrowly lost to Republican Jean Schmidt,a former member of the Ohio House of Representatives,providing the best showing in the usually solidly Republican district by any Democrat since the 1974 election. Hackett's campaign attracted national attention and substantial expenditures by both parties. It was viewed by some observers as the first round of the 2006 elections. In October 2005,Hackett said he would seek the Democratic nomination in 2006 to challenge incumbent U.S. Senator Mike DeWine;however,he dropped out of the race on February 14,2006,and said that he would return to his law practice.

The Lebanon City School District is a city school district located in Lebanon,Ohio,United States. The school district covers 81.9 square miles (212 km2) primarily in the City of Lebanon and Turtlecreek Township in Warren County. In addition to most of Lebanon,it also includes small portions of Union,Salem,Clearcreek,and Washington townships,as well as some small areas that have been annexed by the cities of Middletown and Mason.
Shannon Jones is an American politician from the state of Ohio. A Republican,she was a member of the Ohio House of Representatives from 2007 to 2009 and a member of the Ohio Senate from 2009 to 2016. She was the Executive Director of Groundwork Ohio from 2016 to 2024,and is currently a county commissioner in Warren County,Ohio.

It began publishing in the 1960s in Mason and was known as The Pulse-Journal for most of its history. In 2013,it merged with The Western Star of Lebanon and the Fairfield Echo of Fairfield in 2013.

A special election to the United States House of Representatives for Ohio's 8th congressional district was held to determine the successor to John Boehner,who resigned his seat on October 31,2015. Republican Governor of Ohio John Kasich set the primary election for March 15,2016,and the general election for June 7. The winner of the June special election ran for reelection in November 2016 but served the remainder of Boehner's 13th two-year term,which ended in early January 2017.

Mason City Schools is a city school district that primarily serves Mason and Deerfield Township in Warren County,Ohio,United States. As of 2018,the district has 10,627 students. Its high school,William Mason High School,is the largest in Ohio by enrollment.
The 2022 Ohio gubernatorial election was held on November 8,2022,to elect the governor of Ohio. Incumbent Republican governor Mike DeWine won re-election to a second term in a landslide,defeating Democratic nominee Nan Whaley,the former mayor of Dayton,with 62.4% of the vote. DeWine's 25-point victory marked the continuation of a trend in which every incumbent Republican governor of Ohio since 1994 has won re-election by a double-digit margin.
