Tom Trogh (b. 17 June 1984) is a Belgian quiz player who has won several international titles with the national team of quizzing powerhouse Belgium. He has established himself as the third best player of his country behind Ronny Swiggers and Nico Pattyn. Like all Belgian stars he is an amateur, he works as an actuary in a life insurance company.

He has been a member of the National Team since 2006 and has won two European team titles (EQC) in 2006 and 2008, four Silver medals in 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2013, and twice Bronze in 2011 and 2012. With his club "Clockwork" from Leuven (other members are Erik Derycke (the fourth national player), Marnix Baes, Bart Permentier) he reached European Silver in 2007 and Bronze in 2010 and 2013.

He also won the European double competition with Derycke in 2007, and was second in 2011.

On an individual level he has made a big jump from 2008 to 2009 from rank #39 [1] to 10+-. [2] He placed 11th at the World Quizzing Championship (WQC) both in 2009 and 2010 and 10th (2009) and 8th (2010) respectively at the EQC (all results at iqa.be), making him the only contender under the age of 30.

Colin Batch is a professional international field hockey coach and former international player from Australia. Batch is the head coach of the Australian Men's national hockey team the Kookaburras following his appointment on Tuesday 6 December 2016. He was the head coach of the New Zealand Men's national hockey team the Black Sticks between 2013 and 2016. Prior to this he was the head coach of the Belgium Men's national hockey team the Red Lions from 2010 to 2012. From 2001 to 2008 he was the assistant coach of the most successful Australian Men's national hockey team the Kookaburras in history. Nico Pattyn is one of Belgium's most successful quiz players. He became European Quizzing Champion in November 2007, claiming the title in Blackpool. He was the first to beat English quiz legend, Kevin Ashman at the European championships individuals. He also won an individual silver medal at the first European Quizzing Championships in 2004 in his hometown Ghent and in 2013 in Liverpool, behind his compatriot Ronny Swiggers.

Naz Aydemir Akyol is a Turkish volleyball player, widely regarded as one of the best setters in international volleyball. She plays as setter for Eczacıbaşı Dynavit and the Turkey women's national volleyball team. Mark Bytheway was an England International Quiz player best known for becoming Quizzing World Champion in 2008 and winning the Top Brain competition of Brain of Britain.

Ronny Swiggers from Mechelen is one of Belgium's most successful quiz players. In November 2013 he became European Quizzing Champion, winning the individual competition at the European Championship in Liverpool, beating compatriot Nico Pattyn and Englishman Jesse Honey.
