Tomasz Bonin

Tomasz "The Polish Hammer" Bonin (born November 9, 1973) is a Polish heavyweight boxer.



Bonin has a professional record of 41-3 but was KO'd twice when stepping up. He won his first 26 professional fights, winning the Polish International Heavyweight title and subsequently defending it on 3 occasions, as well as beating boxers such as Garing Lane, Gary Winmon, Dirk Wallyn, Robert Šulgan, Asmir Vojnovic and Antoine Palatis. His first loss was to Audley Harrison when he challenged for the World Boxing Foundation (WBFo) heavyweight title in 2004. [1]

He then fought his way up to rank 11 by the WBC, then in 2007 lost to David Haye, who dropped Bonin 3 times in the first round and a 'slip' before the referee called an end to the fight for Bonin's safety. [2] He was then dropped to rank 25 by the WBC.[ citation needed ]

He regularly uses the block smash move that he renamed 'The Polish Hammer' before his bout against David Haye.

After his fight with Haye he went 4-1 in his next five fights with the loss coming to Andrzej Wawrzyk.

As an amateur he represented Great Britain at the 2000 Olympics, winning a gold medal in the super-heavyweight division and becoming the first ever British boxer to win Olympic gold in that division. Harrison turned professional the following year after signing a contract with BBC Sport, and went on to have seventeen fights on the network before their cancellation of all boxing broadcasts.

Chad Dawson American boxer

Chad Dawson is an American professional boxer. He has held multiple light heavyweight world championships, and was one of the most highly regarded boxers in that division between 2006 and 2013. Dawson rose to prominence on the world stage in 2007, when he defeated Tomasz Adamek to become the WBC light heavyweight champion. After vacating that title, he defeated Antonio Tarver in 2008 to win the IBF and IBO titles, and defeated him in a rematch in 2009.

Klitschko brothers Ukrainian boxer

Vitali Klitschko and Wladimir Klitschko, known as the Klitschko Brothers, are Ukrainian former professional boxers. During their peak years between 2004 and 2015, they were considered the dominant world heavyweight champions of their era, and among the most successful champions in boxing history. In 2011, they entered the Guinness World Records book as the pair of brothers with most world heavyweight title fight wins. In the years following the retirement of undisputed heavyweight champion Lennox Lewis in 2004, the Klitschko brothers would eventually accumulate all four major world heavyweight titles. Mahmoud Charr Syrian boxer

Mahmoud Omeirat Charr is a Lebanese-born Syrian-German professional boxer. He has held the WBA (Regular) heavyweight title since 2017 and challenged once for the WBC heavyweight title in 2012. In 2015, he was shot four times in the stomach after confronting an internet troll in a German fast-food restaurant. Charr underwent double-hip replacement surgery in May 2017.
