"Suddenly" is a song by American R&B singer–songwriter Toni Braxton, released internationally in February 2006 as the lead single from the European edition of her fifth studio album, Libra (2005). Written and produced by Richard Marx, it failed to make the charts anywhere. The track features Chris Botti on the trumpet, and was originally planned to appear on his 2005 album To Love Again: The Duets. Marx recorded this song as a duet with Braxton for his 2008 studio release Sundown and would later release it as a solo track on Now And Forever: The Ballads (2014) and yet as a different version on Beautiful Goodbye (2014).

The album consists mostly of passionate, easy-listening love songs, a style of music quite popular in the Philippines. Five of the tracks on the album were originally used as soundtrack in various movies she starred to which include "Tameme" and "Sana'y Kapiling Ka" in the film F.L.A.M.E.S.: The Movie (1997), the re-recorded "T.L. Ako Sa'yo" and her cover of "Tulak Ng Bibig, Kabig Ng Dibdib" in Kung Ayaw Mo, Huwag Mo! (1998), and "Kapag Ako Ay Nagmahal" in Labs Kita... Okey Ka Lang? (1998). The only American song remake in the album is the studio recording of Anita Bryant-original "Paper Roses" which Magdangal sung on a drama anthology television program, Maalaala Mo Kaya.

Her first solo album in eight years, it served as her debut for the label after signing a new record deal. Braxton worked with a variety of producers on the album, including Fred Ball, Antonio Dixon, Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, Dapo Torimiro, Stuart Crichton, Tricky Stewart, and Pierre Medor. Its release was preceded by the release of two singles, "Deadwood" and "Long as I Live" as well as a remix EP of the song "Coping" which features on the album.

It featured live performances of songs from the cover album, and included a behind-the-scenes footage detailing the process of filming the music videos issued in the bonus Video CD (VCD) of the record. The two-hour special is spliced with a compilation of interviews from celebrities, musicians, and crew members involved with the production of the album and music videos.
