Murder 2 is a 2011 Indian Hindi-language psychological thriller film and the second installment in the Murder film series. A quasi-sequel to the 2004 film, Murder, it stars Emraan Hashmi, Jacqueline Fernandez and Prashant Narayanan, and features Sulagna Panigrahi as a debutant. Directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Mukesh Bhatt, the film released on 8 July 2011. The theatrical trailer of the film was revealed on 1 June 2011 and also in cinemas with Ready. It is one of the highest grossing Bollywood films of 2011. The film is alleged to be based on the 2008 South Korean film The Chaser, though Bhatt denied this and said that it was inspired from the 2006 Nithari killings in Noida. The film is remembered for its erotic scenes.

Raman Raghav 2.0 is a 2016 Indian neo-noir psychological thriller film directed by Anurag Kashyap. Produced by Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl, and Madhu Mantena, the film stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Vicky Kaushal, and debutante Sobhita Dhulipala. It depicts in eight chapters the cat and mouse chase of serial killer Ramanna (Siddiqui) by corrupt cop Raghavan (Kaushal). Thadam is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language crime thriller film written and directed by Magizh Thirumeni. Produced by Inder Kumar, the film stars Arun Vijay in a double role along with Vidya Pradeep, Tanya Hope, and Smruthi Venkat. Bell Bottom is a 2019 Indian Kannada-language crime comedy film directed by Jayatheertha and written by Dayanand T. K. Set in the 1980s, it is produced by Santhosh Kumar K. C. under the Golden Horse Cinema banner. Rishab Shetty and Hariprriya are in the lead roles. The supporting cast includes Achyuth Kumar, Yogaraj Bhat and Pramod Shetty. It marks Nani's 25th film as a lead actor, in which he plays an antihero for the first time in his career. In the film, a decorated police officer tries to hunt down a serial killer.
Abhay is a ZEE5 Original Indian Hindi-language psychological crime thriller web series. Produced by B. P. Singh under Fiction Factory Productions, and directed by Ken Ghosh, the series marks the digital debut of Bollywood actor Kunal Khemu, who stars alongside Elnaaz Norouzi, Sandeepa Dhar and Namit Das. The series revolves around officer Abhay Pratap Singh, an investigating officer with the mind of a criminal, who can go to any extent to solve a case. The first season comprised eight episodes and was released on ZEE5 on 7 February 2019.
Posham Pa is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language psychological thriller film directed by Suman Mukhopadhyay. The film stars Mahie Gill, Sayani Gupta, Ragini Khanna in the main lead roles. The title generally refers to a children's rhyme but the film theme depicts the mass murder of children by serial killers. The plot of the film based on a real true story of serial killers Anjana, and her two daughters Seema Gavit and Renuka Shinde who kidnapped more than 40 children and murdered around 12 children on 19 November 1996. Seema and Renuka received death penalty in 2014 for committing the mass murder of 12 children while their mother Anjana died in 1997 while serving her punishment at prison. The film was released via the ZEE5 platform on 23 August 2019 and received generally positive reviews from the audience and critics.
Vadh is a Hindi psychological thriller film directed by Raj Bharat, Nana Patekar and Rajesh Kumar Singh trio and produced by Dilip Dhanwani. This film was released on 29 March 2002 under the banner of Megastar films.
Footfairy (2020) is a crime-thriller Hindi language film directed by Kanishk Varma and produced by Anurag Bedi, Ruchir Tiwari and Nithin Upadhyaya. It starrs Gulshan Devaiah, Sagarika Ghatge, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Muskan Bamne, Karan Arvind Bendre, Ashish Pathode, Shamal Rokade and Yogesh Soman.
