Tony Fagenson (born July 18, 1978) is a guitarist, producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who is best known for his work with rock bands Eve 6 [1] and Dead Posey. [2]

Eve 6

While attending the University of Southern California at the age of 18, he auditioned for a band from La Crescenta, California called Eleventeen (eventually to become Eve 6) to replace their drummer. A fan at the time of the Fox TV show The X-Files , Fagenson and singer Max Collins were inspired to name the band Eve 6 after seeing the X-Files episode "Eve" while recording their first album. Fagenson played on and co-wrote the four Eve 6 albums released between 1998 and 2012. [3]

Fagenson announced his departure from Eve 6 via Instagram and Twitter on April 7, 2018 and is now full time playing in his band Dead Posey. [4]

Producer and songwriter

When not spending time on band matters, Fagenson produced and co-wrote songs for artists such as Puddle of Mudd, [5] Emily Osment (of Disney's Hannah Montana), [6] The Johnsons [7] & Bryce Vine, [8] Sandra N, Illustrated, Malbec etc. In 2005, Fagenson joined former Eve 6 member Max Collins in forming a new band, The Sugi Tap while Eve 6 was on hiatus.

Dead Posey

In 2018, Fagenson started his current band Dead Posey [9] as guitarist, co-writer & producer with partner Danyell Souza. [10] The band released 3 EP's on Sumerian Records / Position Music [11] - Freak Show, [12] Malfunction] [13] & Malfunction X Broken Down. [14] Dead Posey released their debut album 'Are You In A Cult?' [15] on October 18th, 2024.

Dead Posey has played notable festivals Download, [16] Louder Than Life, [17] Aftershock, [18] Shiprocked [19] and Mad Cool Festival [20] as well as touring with bands such as Theory of a Deadman, [21] Palaye Royale, Bones UK [22] and The Birthday Massacre [23] .

Dead Posey's music has been heard in Fox's Lucifer, [9] MTV's Teen Wolf, [9] Marvel's Cloak & Dagger, [9] and Netflix's Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father, [9] as well as in ads for Taco Bell, Sony PlayStation, Riot Games’ League of Legends, and more. [14] In 2019 their song "Don't Stop The Devil" was the theme song for WWE's Elimination Chamber. The band's song "Parasite" from the Malfunction EP made the 68 Best Rock Songs of 2020 by Loudwire. [24] Dead Posey has received positive write ups from the likes of Spin, [25] Guitar World, [26] Kerrang! Magazine [27] and has collaborated with Hot Topic on their "I Like Scary Movies Experience" feature. They have also appeared on podcasts such as The Boo Crew, [28] The Fred Minnick Show [29] and She Will Rock You. [30] In June 2022 Dead Posey have made their debut on Kerrang! Radio's [31] show Fresh Blood hosted by Alex Baker and were picked as The Featured Artist Of The Week.

Fagenson is married to bandmate Danyell Souza (Dead Posey). He is the son of the Grammy Award winning producer Don Was.

In 2003, guitarist Rory Clewlow joined the band to complete its current line-up, and it adopted its current name. In 2006, they performed to a growing fanbase at Download Festival as well as a sold-out concert at the London Astoria. Their debut studio album, Take to the Skies, was released in 2007 and reached number 4 in the Official UK Album Chart, and has since been certified gold in the UK. Their second, Common Dreads, was released in 2009 and debuted on the UK Albums Chart at number 16; while their third, A Flash Flood of Colour, was released in 2012 and debuted on the chart at number 4. <span class="mw-page-title-main">Creeper (band)</span> English rock band

Creeper are an English rock band from Southampton. Formed in 2014, the group originally featured vocalist Will Gould, guitarists Ian Miles and Sina Nemati, bassist Sean Scott, and drummer Dan Bratton. The band independently released their self-titled debut EP in 2014, before signing with Roadrunner Records and issuing follow-up The Callous Heart the next year. At the end of 2015, Nemati was replaced by Oliver Burdett and touring keyboardist/second vocalist Hannah Greenwood became an official band member. A third EP, The Stranger, was released in 2016 and reached the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart top ten.

Boston Manor are a British rock band formed in Blackpool, Lancashire, England, in March 2013. They released a first EP, Here/Now, through Never Mend Records on Bandcamp, and in 2014 they signed with Failure By Design Records for their second EP, Driftwood. In 2015 the band signed with Pure Noise Records: with them, they released another EP, Saudade, as well as their full-length albums Be Nothing (2016), Welcome to the Neighbourhood (2018) and Glue (2020). Dead Posey is an American rock band founded in Los Angeles, California by lead singer Danyell Souza and guitarist/multi-instrumentalist Tony Fagenson, former drummer of Eve 6.

Salem are a British punk rock band from Southampton. Formed in 2019, the group consists of vocalist Will Gould and guitarist Matt Reynolds. For live performances, the core duo are joined by bassist Ranny Ransom and drummer Aaron Graham. Initially conceived as a side project in the summer of 2019, Gould, Reynolds and Graham recorded five songs which they did not originally intend to release. However, when the COVID-19 pandemic meant that Creeper were unable to tour, the tracks were released as Salem's self-titled debut EP in 2020. A second five-track EP, Salem II, followed in 2021.
