Anthony Lloyd (born 3 December 1956) is a British former professional tennis player.
Lloyd is the youngest of three brothers who played tennis at the top level. [1] Two brothers, David Lloyd and John Lloyd, represented Great Britain in the Davis Cup. [2] All three appeared in the main singles draw of the 1977 Wimbledon Championships, which was Tony's only Grand Slam appearance in singles. [3] Given a wild card into the main draw, Lloyd was beaten in the first round by John Alexander. [3]
More noted as a doubles player, he often partnered with his brother John. The pair were runners-up at the 1979 Paris Open, an indoor Grand Prix tournament, and twice made the third round of the Wimbledon Championships, in 1979 and 1980. [3] [4] During their run in 1979 they defeated number two seeds Wojtek Fibak and Tom Okker. [5]

The International Tennis Federation (ITF) is the governing body of world tennis, wheelchair tennis, and beach tennis. It was founded in 1913 as the International Lawn Tennis Federation by twelve national tennis associations. As of 2016, there are 211 national and six regional associations that make up the ITF's membership.

Ismail El Shafei is an Egyptian former professional tennis player and president of the Egyptian Tennis Federation. He is currently a member of the board of directors of the International Tennis Federation and is chairman of the ITF Junior Circuit. He won six career singles titles and reached eleven finals. In doubles, he won nine career titles.
Jane O'Donoghue is a retired British tennis player who turned professional in 2000 and played her last match on the pro circuit in 2007. During her career, she won three ITF singles and six ITF doubles titles. In July 2006, she reached a career-high singles ranking of 189, and over one year later, she reached 184 in the world in the doubles rankings. O'Donoghue reached the second round of her Grand Slam, Wimbledon in 2004 and 2005. After retirement, she began working for the LTA as a coach.
The 1977 Colgate-Palmolive Grand Prix was a professional tennis circuit administered by the International Lawn Tennis Federation which served as a forerunner to the current Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) World Tour and the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) Tour. The circuit consisted of the four modern Grand Slam tournaments and open tournaments recognised by the ILTF. The Colgate-Palmolive Masters is included in this calendar but did not count towards the Grand Prix ranking. Colgate-Palmolive was the new tour sponsor, taking over from Commercial Union. Guillermo Vilas won the Grand Prix circuit, having accumulated the most points (2,047), and received the largest share from the bonus pool ($300,000). The top eight points ranked singles players as well as the top four doubles teams qualified for the season-ending Masters tournament
The 1972 Commercial Union Assurance Grand Prix was a professional tennis circuit held that year and organized by the International Lawn Tennis Federation (ILTF). It consisted of 33 Grand Prix tournaments in different categories including three of the four Grand Slam tournaments and was followed by a season-ending Masters tournament. The circuit ran from February through November.
