Tony Omondi (born 26 March 1995) is a Kenyan rugby sevens player. He was named as co-captain of the Kenyan sevens team at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. [1] [2]
The Safari Sevens is an annual rugby sevens tournament held in Nairobi, Kenya. The Safari Sevens is open to international representative sides, professional and amateur clubs, invitational teams, university and school teams.
The Kenya national rugby sevens team competes in the World Rugby Sevens Series, Rugby World Cup Sevens and the Commonwealth Games. Kenya recorded its first tournament win in the World Rugby Sevens Series after beating Fiji at the 2016 Singapore Sevens.
