Toofan is a 2010 Indian Hindi-language children's comedy film directed by Major Ravi and starring Rajpal Yadav and Dileep. The film had a delayed release in 2010. It marks the Hindi debut of most of the crew, including Dileep. [1] [2] The film was also released on YouTube as Mohili Gaav, [3] and it was dubbed in Malayalam as Oru Avadhikaalam.

The director Major Ravi makes a cameo appearance as a lorry driver at the end of the film.

Production

In 2007, the media reported that Dileep was making his Hindi debut in a Hindi-Malayalam bilingual directed by Major Ravi. [4] [5] The film marked the second time that Dileep had done a film in a language other than Malayalam. [6] It also stars Rajpal Yadav and takes its name from an Amitabh Bachchan film of the same name. [7] Om Puri and Baby Niranjana were reported to star in the film. [4] The film was produced by Santhosh Damodharan and was shot in Mumbai and Pune. [3] [8] [4] It was initially scheduled to be released on 4 July 2007 due to the success of Dileep's films released on the same date. [9] [ needs update ] Dr. Jayan Titty George, the producer of Vachanam , also plays a small role in the film. [10]

Thankamani is a 2024 Indian Malayalam-language crime thriller film written and directed by Ratheesh Reghunandan and produced by R. B. Choudary under Super Good Films and Raaffi Mathirra under Iffaar Media. The film stars Dileep and is based on a real-life incident that occurred in Thankamany in October 1986.
