Trader Hornee is a 1970 sexploitation film and directed by Jonathan Lucas and starring Buddy Pantsari, Elisabeth Monica, John Alderman, and Christine Murray, and Deek Sills. Written and produced by David F. Friedman, it is an adult-oriented parody of the vintage safari movie Trader Horn (1931).
In 1977, the Adult Film Association of America gave it a retroactive award of merit at its 1977 Erotica Awards as the movie considered to be the best adult film of 1966 to 1970. [1]

Another reviewer noted that his films were "highly artistic — and often cerebral ... and often featured gorgeous cinematography". Film and audio works by Metzger have been added to the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City.

It was produced with a relatively high budget and filmed on elaborate locations in Paris, New York City and Rome with a musical score, and owes much to its director Radley Metzger. He won the Best Supporting Actor Award twice during the Festival de Cine Erotica-Barcelona Fernando was inducted into the X-Rated Critics Organization Hall of Fame in 1997. In 1999, he opened his personal website named Don Fernando's Asian X Club, featuring Asian and Eurasian females, many of which performed exclusively in front of his cameras. He was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame during the 2004 AVN Awards.

Citing a poor representation of transgender performers and producers in mainstream adult awards ceremonies, the Transgender Erotica Awards were created to recognize achievement in the transgender adult industry.
