Trailer Trash Tracys are an English experimental rock/dream pop band that originated in London, England.

Career

The band was founded in 2011 by songwriters Susanne Aztoria and Jimmy Lee. They were later joined by bassist Adam Jaffrey and drummer Dayo James. [1] The band's début album Ester was released through Domino Records on 9 January 2012 in the United Kingdom. Critics have identified dream pop [2] and shoegazing [3] elements in their sound. Susanne Aztoria has garnered critical acclaim, her vocals being described as sublime [4] and honeyed. [5] August 11, 2017 was the release date of the second album Althaea, which gained generally positive reviews.

Touring

The band has toured with The xx, [6] The Vaccines and The Kills. Additionally, they have played with bands including The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, [7] Forest Swords and Real Estate. They have played multiple music festivals around the world as well including The Great Escape, Hinterland Festival in Glasgow, South by Southwest in Austin. [8] and Nail In The Cross Festival in London.

Always Ascending is the fifth studio album by Scottish indie rock band Franz Ferdinand. It was released on 9 February 2018 through the Domino Recording Company. It is the band's first non-collaborative album in over four years, following Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action (2013). It is also their first album to feature new member Julian Corrie, who joined shortly after the departure of Nick McCarthy, and their last to feature drummer Paul Thomson. The album received generally positive reviews from critics. It peaked at number three in Scotland and number six in the UK. Four singles were released from the album: "Always Ascending", "Feel the Love Go", "Lazy Boy" and an alternative version of "Glimpse of Love".
