"Trains and Winter Rains" is a single by Irish musician Enya,the first to be released from her 2008 studio album And Winter Came... . It premiered on the BBC Radio 2 show Wake up to Wogan on 29 September 2008.
The music video was directed by Rob O'Connor,and first became available on Enya's official website on 22 October 2008. As well as Enya surrounded by neon light screens and her looking at the city night through a window as a passenger on the train,a few passengers are shown,waiting and moving around a quiet train station. There are a few shots of the New York skyline. The main filming location is London,specifically Canary Wharf and Heron Quays.

A Day Without Rain is the fifth studio album by Irish singer-songwriter and musician Enya,released on 20 November 2000 by WEA in Europe and on 21 November 2000 by Reprise Records in the US. Following a promotional tour in support of her compilation albums Paint the Sky with Stars and A Box of Dreams in late 1997,Enya started work on a new studio album in mid-1998 with her longtime recording partners,producer and arranger Nicky Ryan and his wife,lyricist Roma Ryan. In a musical departure from her keyboard-oriented sound,Enya incorporates a string section in her songs.

It is Enya's first album not to include a song in Irish and her first to include songs sung in Japanese and Loxian,a fictional language created by Roma.

In the spring of 2012 she started to write and record new material for a new album with her longtime collaborators,producer and arranger Nicky Ryan and his wife,lyricist Roma Ryan. Enya gained inspiration for the title track and the album from the 2011 designation of Sark in the Channel Islands as a dark-sky preserve and a collection of Roma Ryan's poems on islands.

Leah McHenry,mononymously known as Leah,is a Canadian heavy metal musician who records both as a solo artist and,since 2018,as a member of Dragonlord. Sometimes called the "Enya of heavy metal",she performs a mixture of symphonic and Celtic metal with folk and world music. As a solo artist,she has released five full-length albums Of Earth &Angels in 2012,Kings &Queens in 2015,The Quest in 2018,Ancient Winter in 2019,and The Glory and the Fallen in 2024;two EPs,Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence in 2012 and Otherworld in 2013;and twenty singles,both as part of album releases and as stand-alone recordings. She is a frequent artistic collaborator with Eric Peterson of Testament and Dragonlord,Timo Somers from Delain and Vengeance,Sander Zoer from Delain,Barend Courbois from Blind Guardian and Vengeance,and Troy Donockley of Nightwish. McHenry and Peterson released a collaborative single,"Winter Sun",in 2015. She joined Dragonlord for its 2018 studio album Dominion. She also has participated in the charity group Project Aegis.
