Trakų Street (literally, "Trakai Street"; Lithuanian : Trakų gatvė) is one of the oldest streets in the Vilnius Old Town. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]

The Vilnius Uprising of 1794 began on April 22, 1794, during which Polish-Lithuanian force led by Jakub Jasiński fought Russian forces occupying the city during the Kościuszko Uprising. The Russians were expelled from Vilnius, and thanks to Jasiński's skill, no casualties were sustained during the bloodless uprising. Vilnius townspeople also actively participated in the city's defense from the Russians, some even by throwing stones at them.

The Vilnius Medical Society is the oldest medical society in Eastern Europe, established in 1805 on the initiative of Joseph Frank and still continuing its activity. The same year, the society established a teaching hospital (clinic) under the Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine in Didžioji Street 1, which was the first institution of this type in Vilnius and present-day Lithuania. In a nearby building the Vilnius University Therapy Clinic, Surgical Hospital, Vaccination and Maternity Institutes were established.
Vokiečių Street is a street in the Old Town of Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. It is one of the oldest streets in Vilnius and its name arise from the 14th century when the German merchants and craftsman settled there. From 1546, the Vilnius Mint was located in the street. The street was the most beautiful in Vilnius in the 16th century as it already had many brick houses. In the second half of the 19th century, the street was densely inhabited by the Jews and the Great Synagogue of Vilna was located in Vokiečių Street 13A.

Evangelical Reformed Church is a Continental Reformed Protestantic church in the Vilnius Old Town which was built in 1830–1835 according to a project of Karol Podczaszyński. In 2008 a new organ was installed in the church.
Evangelical Lutheran Church is a Lutheran church in the Vilnius Old Town. Its parish has 600 members and it is the only Evangelical Lutheran church in Vilnius.
