Mägo de Oz are a Spanish folk metal band from Begoña, Madrid formed in mid-1988 by drummer Txus di Fellatio. The band became well known for the strong Celtic feel to their music strengthened through their consistent usage of a violinist and flautist. The name for the band was chosen, according to founding member Txus, because "life is a yellow brick road, on which we walk in the company of others searching for our dreams." On the 26th of October, 2018, the band played a special concert to celebrate their 30th anniversary, playing with a symphony orchestra at the WiZink Center in Madrid.

The band is led by siblings Carlos and Armando de Castro, previously from the band Coz, and is considered one of the most important representatives of Spanish hard rock. Barón Rojo in Spanish means "red baron", the name of the band being an homage to Manfred von Richthofen; the 1981 eponymous song "Barón Rojo" is about him. In 2017, they were ranked number 18 on Rolling Stone's "50 Greatest Spanish Rock Bands".

Hermética was an Argentine thrash metal band from San Martín, Buenos Aires. It was formed by bassist Ricardo Iorio in 1987 after his previous band, V8, disbanded. Hermética was signed to the independent record label Radio Trípoli Discos throughout their career. The band's initial lineup consisted of Iorio, vocalist Claudio O'Connor, drummer Fabián Spataro and guitarist Antonio Romano. Spataro left the band in 1988 and was replaced by Antonio Scotto. This lineup recorded their eponymous album, the first thrash metal album recorded in Argentina. At this point of their career, Hermética performed mainly in Argentina, except for one concert held in Uruguay. In 1990, they released Intérpretes—an extended play which included covers of Argentine rock and tango songs. Both albums were released by Radio Trípoli Discos as a single CD when digital technology became available.

It was released by EMI Latin on June 21, 2011, and features the participation of Moderatto as her backing band. Jay de la Cueva worked as producer of the album, which was recorded at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City on March 17, 2011. The album includes Guzmán's greatest hits, a song originally performed by Moderatto, and two newly recorded songs, including the theme song of the Mexican telenovela Una familia con suerte.

The band was fronted by guitarist Norberto "Pappo" Napolitano, who formed Riff after dissolving his old musical project, Pappo's Blues. Sasha, Benny y Erik are a pop supergroup from Mexico. The group was formed by 3 former members of the Mexican pop group Timbiriche, consisting of Sasha Sokol, Benny Ibarra and Erik Rubin who are close friends in real life. With much anticipation by their fans, Sasha, Benny and Erik released the live album Primera Fila: Sasha Benny Erik. The project has enjoyed much success with a national tour that started in late 2012 and has continued through much of 2014. The album has been certified triple platinum + gold in Mexico for sales exceeding 210,000 copies. Originally, the band performed 2 concerts at the National Auditorium in Mexico City in April 2013, but due to demand, they did two more concerts at the venue in September of that same year. In 2013, they released En Vivo desde el Auditorio Nacional, which went gold a few days after its release. At the end of 2013, the album Primera Fila: Sasha Benny Erik was officially recognized by AMPROFON as the second best-selling album in Mexico that year. In late 2014, Sasha, Benny y Erik released their first studio album "Vuelta al Sol" and release "Esta Noche" as their first single. Next singles were "Todo tiene su lugar" ,"Japi" and "Punto de partida". In 2015, they performed at National Auditorium twice. In early 2016, they will release a new live album with new songs and hits, performed with several guests. First single "Lo Siento" featuring Pepe Aguilar, was released on February 19. In May, "Entre Amigos" was released and the band announced the end of the project in December. The album was certified as Gold some weeks later and they began a farewell tour with a final performance on December 31.
Obús is a Spanish heavy metal band founded in Madrid, Spain in 1980. They stood out because they took the risk of making a big spectacle in their concerts, to reach to the level of other international heavy metal bands. In addition, the lyrics they write and the feelings they transmit connect with the people that follow them. As they said in an interview: "All our songs, some more and some less, have a meaning". Far away from renouncing to their genre, they have always claimed that they were a heavy metal band, and they wrote a song about this genre in their first album called, "Dosis de Heavy Metal". In 2012, because of their 30th anniversary, they did a tour around Spain.
