Travis London is an American celebrity chef-turned-interior designer, television host, writer, and event planner. London owns bi-coastal design firm Studio London Co. He was born in Los Angeles and resides in Miami. London is of both Mexican and African American descent.

Career

At 16, London began throwing parties for his friends, which eventually landed him on "Page Six" as a "party-going L.A. hipster". By the time he received formal training at the French Culinary Institute, he had secured a food column in OK! Magazine and had prepared dishes for his celebrity friends Justin Timberlake, Mary-Kate Olsen, and former love interest Rihanna" [1]

Travis is the founder of Healthy Chic Eats, and has appeared on the Today Show , Fox and Friends and the Suzanne Somers Show. [2] Travis is a weekly contributor to OK! Magazine [3] and in 2012 was brand ambassador for X Rated Fusion Liqueur. [4]

Cooking Influences

Travis' African-American grandfather, who was from Georgia, and Mexican maternal grandmother, taught Travis how to raise chickens, cook collard greens, and master homemade tamales. [13] London credits his approach to eating healthy as being influenced by growing up with his mother being overweight. He has stated that at 13 he discovered healthy meals for his mother while watching Suzanne Somers on the Home Shopping Network. [14]

Personal life

London has dated Alejandro Barberena as well as Rihanna [15] and Mary-Kate Olsen. [16] He and Bruce Douglas Patrick, who is a retired tax lawyer for Exxon and other companies, were married on November 4, 2023. [17]

The song was written by Andrew Harr, Jermaine Jackson, Stacy Barthe, LP, Corey Gibson, Chris Ivery, Lauren Christy, Graham Edwards, Avril Lavigne, Rihanna and Scott Spock, while production of the song was completed by Harr and Jackson under their stage name, the Runners. The song also contains samples from Lavigne's song "I'm with You", which is featured on her debut album Let Go (2002). Lyrically, "Cheers (Drink to That)" is a party song featuring multiple references to the weekend. The song received positive reviews from music critics, who praised the interpolation of the sample and also commented that it should prove to be a successful club song due to its lyrical content. "Cheers (Drink to That)" reached number one in Lebanon, the top 10 in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United States, and the top 40 in Ireland, Slovakia, and the United Kingdom. The music video for the song, directed by Evan Rogers and Ciara Pardo, shows footage of the singer on tour and enjoying different activities during her homecoming trip to Barbados. "Jump" is a song recorded by Barbadian singer Rihanna for her seventh studio album, Unapologetic (2012). It was written by Kevin Cossom, M. B. Williams, Stargate and Chase & Status, with production done by the latter two and Kuk Harrell. It samples the lyrics of the 1996 single "Pony", performed by Ginuwine. Its composition and structure received comparisons to not only Justin Timberlake's song "Cry Me a River" and Magnetic Man's "I Need Air", but also to some of Rihanna's previous songs, including "Rude Boy" and "Red Lipstick". A remix of the song called "Jump " by rapper Theophilus London was leaked onto the internet. "Jump" was serviced to Australian radio on January 24, 2014 as the album's sixth single.
