"Treueband" is a single released by the German hard rock band Bonfire. It was released in 2012 as a theme song for the hockey team in the German city of Ingolstadt. The backing vocals on the three versions of the song that are on this single feature a large number of fans of the Ingolstadt hockey team. Also featured on this release are two session recordings of songs that were recorded for the Double X album. Also included was one full-length recording from Branded . Although Harry Reischmann is credited for the drums portion of the release, he is only featured on the Treueband songs. Jürgen Wiehler is the drummer on the two songs from the Double X sessions and Dominik Huelshorst is the drummer on the song from Branded.

Bonfire (band) band

Bonfire is a German heavy metal band, founded in Ingolstadt, Germany in 1972 by Hans Ziller. In 1986, based on the advice of the record company and the management, the band changed its name to Bonfire. The original founder Hans Ziller is still in the band and is the only one who has the rights to the Bonfire name.

Branded is the twelfth album by the German hard rock band Bonfire. It was released in 2011 by LZ Records and Sony Music. This is the first full album to be released with Bonfire's original drummer, Dominik Huelshorst, back behind the drum kit for the band. Two extra tracks were included, acoustic versions of "I Need You" and "Rivers Of Glory" that were recorded in 2011 with Claus Lessmann and Hans Ziller playing acoustic guitars and Chiara Ziller on piano.

Band members

Claus Lessmann German singer

Claus Leßmann is a German heavy metal singer and former lead singer of the heavy metal band, Bonfire. He was the only member and the only singer of Bonfire to have appeared on all of the band's albums. Leßmann was also one of the two original members of the band until January 2015, the other being lead guitarist Hans Ziller. Before joining Bonfire in 1978, he was in the bands Ginger and Sunset. He is currently the vocalist for Phantom 5. Phantom 5 has released 2 albums.

Hans Ziller is the master mind, founder, lead guitarist, backing vocalist and primary composer of the German 1980s melodic hard rock band Bonfire. He founded the band called Cacumen as a teenager in 1972. In 1989 in the middle of working on Bonfire's third album Point Blank – which, like the earlier albums, was produced by Michael Wagener – Hans Ziller left the band because of insurmountable differences with the management and the rest of the band and began a project of his own called EZ Livin’. 1993 he continued with Bonfire.

"Schanzer Herz" is a single released by the German hard rock band Bonfire that had not appeared on a previously released album. It was released in 2004 by LZ Records. The single was only available in Germany and was dedicated to the Ingolstadt football team, named FC Ingolstadt 04, becoming the team's theme song. It was supported by PETA and specifically combated the Ukrainian government's policy to reward people for killing stray street dogs. The track 'Cry For Help' was originally part of the album Double X, but has been re-recorded for this release. The band donated 1 Euro to PETA for each sale made of this EP. Although Dominik Huelshorst was the one whom performed on this release, the band's new drummer, Harry Reischmann is shown in the music video to the song.

<i>Live in Wacken</i> live album by Bonfire

Live In Wacken is the sixth live album by the German hard rock band Bonfire. It was released in 2013 by LZ Records and Sony Music. The live performances on the album were recorded on two different occasions, in 1998 at Wacken and 2008 in Ingolstadt. In addition, there are two studio tracks: a re-recording of Domo Arigato from You Make Me Feel now called Thank You and a longer mix of Hold Me Now from Branded. Although Harry Reischmann is credited for drums, he only performs on the last song on the album. Jurgen "Bam Bam" Wiehler performs the drum portions of the live recordings and on the studio song Thank You. Also, Chris "Yps" Limburg is credited as the rhythm guitarist for the album, but it is Chris Lausmann whom performs that function for the songs done in Wacken.

Glorious is the thirteenth album by the German hard rock band Bonfire. It was released in 2015 by Borlia Records. This is the first album by what is deemed to be the third incarnation of the band, after the group had broken up earlier in the year and was resurrected by Hans Ziller by renaming his temporary music project, EZ Livin’, to Bonfire. The album features a Beatles cover song as well as two remade songs from Bonfire’s most successful album, Fireworks.
