Treyson Bourguet (born December 16, 2003) is an American college football quarterback for the BYU Cougars. He previously played for the Western Michigan Broncos.
Bourguet was born in Tucson, Arizona and attended high school at Salpointe Catholic. In his high school career, Bourguet completed 282 of his 464 pass attempts for 3,987 yards and 57 touchdowns, to 13 interceptions. Bourguet would also rush for 683 yards and 11 touchdowns, while also hauling in one reception for 17 yards. [1] Bourguet originally committed to Arizona but instead committed to play college football at Western Michigan University. [2] [3]
During Bourguet's true freshman season in 2022, he played in four games where he completed 54 out of 109 passing attempts for 601 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. [4] He made his first career start against Miami (OH) where he rushed for 25 yards and threw for 123 yards. [5] During a game against Bowling Green, he threw a career high 191 yards on 16 completions along with his first collegiate touchdown pass. [6]
During the Week 5 game against Ball State in the 2023 season, he completed 21 out of 27 passing attempts for 328 yards and three touchdowns, leading the team to win 42-24. [7] Because of his performance, he was named the MAC West Offensive Player of the Week. [8] He entered the transfer portal on December 4, 2023. [9]
On January 6, 2024, Bourguet announced that he would transfer to BYU. [10]

Ty Hubert Detmer is an American former professional football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL). He won the Heisman Trophy in 1990 while playing college football for the BYU Cougars. Detmer broke numerous NCAA records with BYU, and was twice recognized as a consensus All-American. A late-round pick in the 1992 NFL draft, Detmer played for six NFL teams over 14 seasons, mostly in a backup role. He is currently the Athletic Director at American Leadership Academy – Gilbert North High School in Gilbert, Arizona.

The Western Michigan Broncos football program represents Western Michigan University in the Football Bowl Subdivision of Division I and the Mid-American Conference (MAC). Western Michigan has competed in football since 1906, when they played three games in their inaugural season. In 1927, WMU joined four other schools to form the Michigan Collegiate Conference. Western Michigan then moved to its present conference in 1948. Prior to 1939, Western Michigan's athletic teams were known as the Hilltoppers.

After playing college football for the BYU Cougars, he was signed by the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent in 2010. Hall played in a total of six NFL games for the Cardinals. Hall spent 2012 as an assistant coach for BYU. He then played the 2013 CFL season for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Kelaokalani Fifita "Kalani" Sitake is a Tongan–American football coach and former player. He has been the head football coach at Brigham Young University (BYU) since 2015, and is the first Tongan to become a collegiate football head coach. Sitake played college football as a fullback for the BYU Cougars under coach LaVell Edwards, and graduated in 2000. Prior to becoming head coach at BYU, Sitake was the defensive coordinator and associate head coach at the University of Utah, and the defensive coordinator and associate head coach at Oregon State University (OSU).

The 2016 Western Michigan Broncos football team represented Western Michigan University (WMU) in the 2016 NCAA Division I FBS football season. They were led by fourth-year head coach P. J. Fleck and played their home games at Waldo Stadium as a member of the West Division of the Mid-American Conference (MAC). The Broncos completed their regular season undefeated and won the MAC West Division title. The Broncos finished conference play defeating the Ohio Bobcats 29–23 in the 2016 MAC Championship Game, winning the school's first MAC championship title since 1988. WMU received an invitation to the 2017 Cotton Bowl as the highest rated Group of Five team in the College Football Playoff (CFP). It was the first major-bowl appearance in school history. The Broncos also won 10 games in a season for the first time in their 111-year football history. They lost to the No. 8 Wisconsin Badgers in the New Years Six bowl game, 24–16.

The Broncos finished the season 6–6, 4–4 to finish in fourth place in the West Division. Despite being bowl eligible, the Broncos did not receive an invite to a bowl game.
