The Ironman World Championship is a triathlon competitions held annually in Hawaii, United States from 1978 to 2022, with no race in 2020 and an additional race in 1982. It is owned and organized by the World Triathlon Corporation. It is the annual culmination of a series of Ironman triathlon qualification races held throughout the world. From 2023, the Men's and Women's Ironman World Championships were separated with one at Kona and the other hosted at another venue.
The XV Island Games were held in Bermuda from 13 to 19 July 2013. Bermuda was selected to host the Games by default after Prince Edward Island withdrew from the International Island Games Association.
The World Triathlon Mixed Relay Championships, is an annual team triathlon competition organized by World Triathlon. The competition is completed in teams of four, two men and two women, with each member doing a super-sprint distance triathlon.

Sailboarding, also known as Windsurfing for the 2013 Island Games, will take place at the Spanish Point Boat Club in Pembroke Parish. The schedule states that medals will be awarded on 19 July 2013. However, depending on the weather, preliminary races could occur from 13 to 18 July 2013.
Cycling, for the 2013 Island Games, took place throughout the whole of Bermuda. This sport was contested from the 14 to 18 July 2013.
Golf, for the 2013 Island Games, took place at the Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton Parish, Bermuda. The competition ran from 15 to 18 July 2013.
Artistic gymnastics, for the 2013 Island Games, took place at the National Training Centre, instead of the Warwick Academy. Competition occurred on the 14, 16, and 18 July 2013.

Swimming, for the 2013 Island Games, took place at the National Sports Center in Devonshire Parish, Bermuda. Competition took place from 15 to 18 July 2013. The events are held in a short course pool.
Tennis, for the 2013 Island Games, took place at the William Joell Tennis Stadium in Pembroke Parish, Bermuda. Matches were played out from 14 to 19 July 2013.
The triathlon competitions at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo featured fifty-five athletes competing in each of the men's and women's events. The 2020 Olympics were postponed to 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It also added the new mixed team relay event.
Bermuda competed at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Ontario, Canada from July 10 to 26, 2015. In April 2015, Carlos Lee was named as the chef de mission for the team.
Bermuda competed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast, Australia from April 4 to April 15, 2018. Bermuda announced it will send a squad of 8 athletes. It was Bermuda's 18th appearance at the Commonwealth Games.
Triathlon at the Pacific Games was first contested at the 1995 games at Papeete. It has also been included in the Pacific Mini Games, firstly at Norfolk Island in 2001.
The mixed relay triathlon at the 2020 Summer Olympics took place at the Odaiba Marine Park in Tokyo on 31 July 2021.
