Tristan Clopet is a Canadian-born American composer. He scored the Netflix and Crackle series StartUp . His score for River Wild received a Hollywood Music in Media Awards nomination. ^[1]

Early life and education

Clopet was born in Toronto, Ontario. He studied at the University of Miami. ^[2]

Career

Earlier in his career, Clopet was a member of the synth-pop band Great Good Fine Ok, performing with the group at festivals including South by Southwest (SXSW). ^{[2] [3]} He contributed music to Brad Furman's 2016 film The Infiltrator while working with composer Chris Hajian. ^[4]

Clopet was the composer for the Crackle series StartUp (2016–2018). ^[5] A soundtrack album featuring his score was released by Madison Gate Records in 2018. ^{[6] [7]}

In 2023, he scored River Wild for Universal Pictures and earned a nomination for Best Original Score (TV/Streamed Movie) at the 2023 Hollywood Music in Media Awards. ^[1] The score was released by Back Lot Music. ^{[8] [9]}

Clopet wrote music for Crown Heights , which won the Audience Award at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival. ^[10] He also worked on the AMC+ series Pantheon (2022), collaborating with Marco Beltrami, Buck Sanders, and Brandon Roberts. ^[11]
