Tristan Stephani (born August 21, 2002) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for New York Cosmos in the USL League One.
Born in Norfolk, Massachusetts, Stephani played youth soccer for local Northeast clubs New England Revolution, NEFC and Boston Bolts. In 2021, Stephani attended Holy Cross University to play college soccer. He played four season with the Crusaders, making 32 appearances and recording 6 shutouts. [1] In 2025, Stephani transferred to Fordham University, for a graduate season where he played another season at the college level. He appeared in 14 matches for the Rams, recording 7 shutouts. [2] He made his debut for the Rams on September 14, 2025, recording a shutout in a 1–0 victory over Lafayette. [3]
During his time at college, Stephani also played in the USL League Two with Ocean City Nor'easters, Boston Bolts, and Vermont Green. [4] [5] In the Fall of 2025, Stephani also played for United Premier Soccer League side Chicago Nation FC. [6]
On January 17, 2026, Stephani joined USL League One side New York Cosmos ahead of their return to professional competition. [7]
