Ownership

The Trivandrum Royals cricket team is co-owned by a diverse group of individuals, each bringing unique expertise and influence to the franchise. The team is spearheaded by renowned filmmaker Priyadarshan and businessman Jose Thomas Pattara, both of whom have deep ties to Kerala's cultural and business landscapes. Keerthy Suresh, an acclaimed actress in the South Indian film industry, and Kalyani Priyadarshan, an emerging talent in the same field, also hold ownership stakes, adding a celebrity dimension to the franchise. Riaz Adam, a prominent figure in business circles, and Shibu Mathai, known for his contributions to the sports industry, complete the ownership group.

An international astro turf hockey stadium is located at Kollam city. Other major stadiums are EMS Stadium in Kozhikode, Malappuram District Sports Complex Stadium in Manjeri, Kannur Indoor Stadium in Kannur, Lal Bahadur Shastri Stadium in Kollam and many more. All these stadiums attest to the mass appeal of such sports among Keralites.

The Sports Hub Trivandrum, also known as Greenfield International Stadium, and previously as Trivandrum International Stadium, is a multi-purpose stadium in Kerala, India, used mainly for cricket and football. The stadium is located in the Kariavattom neighborhood of Thiruvananthapuram city. The stadium has a seating capacity of 50,000.
