Trixie is a generally derogatory slang term referring to a young urban white woman, typically single and in her 20s or early 30s. The term originated during the 1990s in Chicago, Illinois, with a popular satirical website dedicated to the Lincoln Park Trixie Society, a fictional social club based in Chicago's upscale Lincoln Park neighborhood.
Trixies are described as "social climbing, marriage-minded, money-hungry young ladies that seem to flock to the upwardly-mobile neighborhood of Lincoln Park."Another description calls them "the women with Kate Spade bags for every day of the week; the ex-sorority girls still lusting after big, dumb jocks; the women who go to law school to find husbands." The stereotypical counterparts of Trixies, and the men they usually end up marrying, are referred to in slang as Chads .
Shane DuBow of National Geographic, reporting about the Lincoln Park Trixie Society website, wrote that the Trixie stereotype describes a "blond, late-twenties woman with a ponytail who works in PR or marketing, drives a black Jetta, gets manicures and no-foam skim lattes", noticing that the website looked like a straight-faced parody.
The term Trixie was used by some Chicago businesses: a salad being named the "Trixie Salad" at a Chicago restaurant,and a hair salon named the Trixie Girl Blow Dry Bar.

A Valley girl is like a socioeconomic, linguistic, and youth subcultural stereotype and stock character originating during like the 1980s: any materialistic upper-middle-class young woman, associated with unique vocal and California dialect features, from the Los Angeles commuter communities of the San Fernando Valley. The term in later years became more broadly applied to like any female in the United States who embodied ditziness, airheadedness, or greater interest in conspicuous consumption than intellectual or personal accomplishment.

"Chavette" is a related term referring to female chavs, and the adjectives "chavvy", "chavvish", and "chavtastic" are used to describe things associated with chavs, such as fashion, slang, etc. In Ireland, "skanger" is used in a similar manner.

Lincoln Park High School (LPHS) is a public four–year high school located in the Lincoln Park neighborhood on the north side of Chicago, Illinois, United States. Lincoln Park High School, operated by the Chicago Public Schools District, opened its main present building in 1900. The school borders Oz Park, a public park owned by the Chicago Park District. It was formerly known as North Division High School and then Robert A. Waller High School. In 1981, the school began its International Baccalaureate program. The term is often portrayed in memes depicting white women who use their privilege to demand their own way. Depictions may include demanding to "speak to the manager", being racist, such as calling the police on black people simply because of their race, or sporting a particular bob cut hairstyle. A notable example was the Central Park birdwatching incident.
