Trond H. Diseth

Trond Haaken Diseth (born 5 July 1957) is a Norwegian child psychiatrist. He is Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Oslo and a chief consultant at the Children's Clinic at Oslo University Hospital, Rikshospitalet. He is an expert on behavioral and brain functions.

He graduated with the cand.med. degree at the University of Oslo in 1984, received the dr.med. (D.Sc.) degree from the same university in 1997 and is a specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry. He was appointed as a senior consultant at the State Hospital for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 1991 and joined Rikshospitalet as a senior consultant in child and adolescent psychiatry in 1997. He has been chief consultant (head of department) at Rikshospitalet since 2004 and became a full Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Oslo in 2005. [1] [2]

Forskningsparken is a rapid transit station on the Sognsvann Line of the Oslo Metro. It also serves as a light rail station for the Ullevål Hageby Line of the Oslo Tramway. Perry is an American psychiatrist, currently the senior fellow of the Child Trauma Academy in Houston, Texas and an adjunct professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at the Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. A clinician and researcher in children's mental health and the neurosciences, from 1993 to 2001 he was the Thomas S. Trammell Research Professor of Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine and chief of psychiatry at Texas Children's Hospital. He also serves as senior consultant to the Alberta Minister of Children and Youth Services in Alberta, Canada. Perry is also a senior fellow at the Berry Street Childhood Institute in Melbourne, Australia. He is also the author of several books.

Ola Didrik Saugstad is a Norwegian pediatrician, neonatologist and neuroscientist noted for his research on resuscitation of newborn children and his contribution to reduce child mortality. He is a Research Professor at Oslo University Hospital and Professor of Neonatology at Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago. He is Professor Emeritus of Pediatrics at the University of Oslo and was Director of the Department of Pediatric Research at Oslo University Hospital from 1991 to 2017.

Nic Waal, born Caroline Schweigaard Nicolaysen in Kristiania, Norway was a Norwegian psychiatrist, noted for her work among children and adolescents in Norway where she is known as "the mother of Norwegian pediatric and adolescent psychiatry." She was also active in the Norwegian resistance during World War II, and was named as one of the Righteous among the Nations by Yad Vashem.

The Norwegian Centre for Violence and Traumatic Stress Studies is a research centre in Oslo, Norway, and Norway's national research institution in violence and sexual abuse; disaster management, terrorism, armed conflicts and traumatic stress; and forced migration and refugee health research. Trond Heir is a Norwegian psychiatrist and military physician. He is a Research Professor at the Norwegian Centre for Violence and Traumatic Stress Studies and Professor II of Psychiatry at the University of Oslo Institute of Clinical Medicine. He is an expert on psychotraumatology, epidemiology and public health. He was a member of the crisis team in the aftermath of the 2011 Norway attacks against a youth camp at Utøya and against the central government departments, and has carried out research on psychological trauma in the aftermath of the attacks.

Thor Willy Ruud Hansen is a Norwegian pediatrician and neonatologist. He is a Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Oslo and a former President of the Norwegian Society of Pediatricians (2009–2011). His research interests are neonatal medicine, including the neurotoxicology of neonatal jaundice, as well as clinical ethics.
