Naked Raygun is an American punk band formed in the Beverly neighborhood of Chicago in 1980. Initially active until 1992, the band had several short-lived reunions afterwards and a full-time reformation in 2006.
Lauren Pritchard, known professionally as Lolo, is an American singer, songwriter and actress, best known for being featured on the single "Miss Jackson" by Panic! at the Disco and her singles "Not The Drinking", "Not Gonna Let You Walk Away" and "Shine". In 2016, she released her second album In Loving Memory of When I Gave a Shit. Pritchard mentions Billy Joel, Joni Mitchell, Al Green and Candi Staton as some of the influences behind her music.
James Dewitt Yancey, better known by the stage names J Dilla and Jay Dee, was an American record producer and rapper who emerged in the mid-1990s underground hip hop scene in Detroit, Michigan, as one third of the acclaimed music group Slum Village. He was also a member of the Soulquarians, an influential musical collective active during the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Kalima was a Manchester-based Factory Records band who were active from 1980 to 1991 and in 2001 after a reformation, playing in a funk, Latin and jazz style.
"Girls Talk" is a stand-alone single released by alternative rock band Garbage for Record Store Day 2014. Developed from a long gestating song idea, written by the band for inclusion on their 2007 greatest hits set Absolute Garbage, "Girls Talk" features Brody Dalle. Butch Vig described the original sessions for the song as "pretty cool sounding, lots of fast pizzicato guitars and cellos". The newly recorded take of "Girls Talk" features Eric Avery on bass guitar and was engineered and mixed by Billy Bush.
Shit and Shine is an experimental music project based in Austin, Texas. Formed in 2004 by bandleader Craig Clouse, its percussion-driven sound mixes noise with electronics. Clouse is the only consistent member, with an ever-rotating line-up of musicians.
You're Lucky to Have Friends Like Us is the debut studio album of Shit and Shine, released on 1 April 2004 by Riot Season. It was released on CD for the first time when it was coupled with the band's third album, Jealous of Shit and Shine.
Ladybird is the second studio album by Shit and Shine, released on 17 October 2005 by Latitudes. Featuring four drummers and two bassists, the album contains a lengthy forty-two minute improvisation built on a repetitive drum pattern.

Find Out What Happens When People Start Being Polite for a Fucking Change is an EP by Shit and Shine, released in October 2013 by Gangsigns. The cover art made number thirty out of thirty on Fact magazine's "The 30 Best Album Covers of 2013" list.
DIAG004 is an EP by Shit and Shine, released on 30 September 2013 by Diagonal.
Powder Horn is the eighth studio album by Shit and Shine, released on 19 August 2014 by Diagonal. The release saw Craig Clouse's continued exploration of the dance and electronic genre he had started with DIAG004. The Vinyl Factory placed the album at number eight on their "Top 100 Vinyl Releases of 2014" list and credited with being one of the best electronic releases of the year.
Chakin' is a compilation album by Shit and Shine, released on 10 February 2015 by Astral Spirits. The album comprises improvised jazz sessions recorded for Clouse's Tuesday Jazz Chat on YouTube. The music is comparable to Sun Ra and Bitches Brew-era Miles Davis.
54 Synth-Brass, 38 Metal Guitar, 65 Cathedral is the ninth studio album by Shit and Shine, released on 16 March 2015 by Rocket Recordings. The album marries the cacophonous noise rock sound of their earlier work with modern dance music, while touching upon krautrock, jazz fusion, funk and electronic music.
